"Shall we head inside?" Draco breaks me out of my train of thought and my anxieties quickly return, nausea returning at the remembrance of the ball tonight. I nod as I nibble on my lip, an anxious habit from childhood.

Draco leads me inside and I'm met with a house elf.

"Allow me to take your coat, Ma'am?" She politely asks.

"Thank you." I say as I shrug my coat of and hand it to her gently. She takes Dracos coat as well and I cannot help but notice while he doesn't thank the house elf, he is very gentle, unlike I've seen his father treat Dobby, one of their previous house elves.

I step back and look around me at the Manor as Draco puts a hand on my lower back and leads me down a hall.

"Mum, where are you?" He calls out.

"In the first kitchen." His mother's gentle voice calls out. He nods and leads me down another hall. How does he get around this place? I'd get lost.

"Mum, Y/n just arrived." He says as he leads me into the huge kitchen. I see a few house elves scurrying around, preparing for later.

"Oh, lovely. Hello, dear." She turns and smiles at me, setting down the book she was reading and giving me a gentle hug.

"Hello, Mrs. Malfoy." A smile coats my face as I embrace the woman.

"I think we're going to head upstairs for a bit before the ball begins, if that's alright?" Draco asks.

"Of course, have fun." Draco starts to steer me towards the door when his mother calls out again. "Oh, and y/n, dear, if you need anything just ask one of the house elves!" She adds.

"Yes ma'am!" I reply as we walk away. Draco leads me down a hall reaching the grand staircase. He leads me up the stairs and we take a right, left, left, and one more right. His door is the first on the left, I make a mental note of the pathway in order to avoid getting lost.

I walk into his room and take a moment to glance around at the quidditch posters and simple dark academia aesthetic. Draco pulls his suit jacket off and hangs it by the door and comes behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist and laying his head on my shoulder. I lean into his embrace and feel myself relax a bit.

"I missed you, idiot." I whisper, feeling his smile against my neck.

"I missed you too, darling." He places a trail of kisses down my neck and I tilt my neck giving him more space.

He spins me around to face him and lifts me up, I let out a small yelp, not expecting it. He throws me onto the bed and laughs as he climbs on top of me. Feeling mischievous, I tuck one of my legs under his and flip us over, me landing on top of him.

"Oh that's what we're doing, are we?" He asks with a smirk. I laugh in return when suddenly his hands find my waist and start aggressively tickling me.

"Draco!" I exclaim through my laughter, making him laugh as well. He takes this opportunity to flip us over yet again, leaving him on top again. As my laughter dies down, he brushes my hair from where it fell into my face.

"Merlin, you're beautiful." He breathes against my lips as he kisses me. I kiss back and we start making out, the kisses hungry.

We end up cuddling and just talking for a while, catching up and making up for time spent apart.

"So what dress are you wearing tonight?" Draco asks after a pause, twirling my hair in his fingers.

"You'll see, Mr. Malfoy." I say with a laugh. "What time is it, anyway?" I ask.

"2:30." He responds after checking the clock. "We have to be downstairs at 3:45ish to start inviting guests who arrive early and that's also when you have to meet my aunt Bella." My heart drops.

"Bellatrix Lestrange?" I ask, turning and facing him. He nods. The image of her pulling Nevilles hair back, wand to his throat flashes through my mind and I shiver.

"I hope by some miracle, she doesn't remember me." Draco looks at me confused. I explain what happened the previous year in the Department of Mysteries at the Ministry.

"Hey, it's alright. Maybe she won't recognize you. Or maybe she won't care... Who knows." Draco responds.

"She... she killed Sirius. He was almost like a father to me..." I mutter. Draco rubs my back gently.

"I know." I sigh at his response.

"I should probably get ready, Draco." He nods and I climb off of him, grabbing my enchanted bag. "Is it alright if I do my makeup and hair here?" I ask, referring to Dracos vanity. He nods and starts reading through a book about potions. I start doing my hair first, deciding on an elegant bun with some hair let down in the back, basically copying Hermiones Yule ball hair. I start touching up my makeup and feel eyes on me, only to see Draco staring at me through the mirror.

"That looks... complicated." He says as I apply mascara and curl my lashes.

"It can be." I respond. Draco watches, curious, as I finish up my makeup, leaning more towards a natural look.

"Do I look alright?" I ask, looking at Draco through the mirror.

"You look stunning." I can't help but smile at his words.

"Well I should change." I say, heading towards his bathroom door.

"Why not change right here." He says suggestively, blocking my path to the door. I roll my eyes and laugh as I push him out of my way and lock the door behind me. I undress and slip the dress on, remembering the back needs to be zipped.

"Draco?" I crack the door open and peek out, seeing him pulling up his suit pants, shirtless. He looks up and cocks an eyebrow in question as he buttons his pants and does his belt.

"Zip me up?" I ask and he nods, walking towards me while still shirtless. He stands behind me in the bathroom and brushes my hair to the side, his hands brushing over my shoulders and down my back, sending shivers down my body.

"What if I don't want to zip you up?" His question is accompanied but a firm squeeze of my tits, giving my face a coating of red.
