The next week goes by fast and Christmas is coming up. I love Christmas, it's my favorite holiday honestly.

As we speak, I'm sitting in an empty corridor, waiting for Draco. I'm bloody pissed at the moment, but I'm not allowed to be.

Pansy has been all over him lately and I'm filled with jealousy. I'm not allowed to be, of course. He isn't mine.

"Y/n?" Draco stands over me and I jump, not hearing him.

"Draco." I stand up. "What did you want me here for?"

"What is up with you? You've been acting different. Did I do something?" He asks gently.

"Nope. I'm normal. I'm exceedingly ordinary." I lie.

"I know you, Y/n. It's been this way for like a week. Ever since... that lesson with Slughorn. That's where it started!" Draco realizes. "What did you smell in the potion?" He asks. "Potter, I bet." I shake my head no.

"I bet you smelled Pansy, didn't you? Explains why she's been all over you recently." I bitterly spit. He makes a face in confusion.

"So what?"

"Maybe I did get Potter. Maybe I did smell him in the potion. So what?" I mock back. Draco stares at me hard. It seems as though somethings going through his head. I stand studying his eyes when suddenly I am slammed against the wall of the corridor, the cool stone contrasting from Dracos body heat.

"I don't give a fuck if you smelled Potter." He growls.

"Seems like you doooo." I mock. He lets out a low growl and studies my face. Seizing the opportunity, I push him back against the opposing wall. "I don't give a fuck if you smelled Pansy." I spit her name.

"Seems like you do." He retaliates. He looks into my eyes and his hands find my hips. He flips us around, me pinned yet again.

"What's it to you anyway? Why do you even care? Maybe I smelled someone like Blaise!" I'm messing with him at this point.

Suddenly Draco shoves me hard. He pauses before he starts to lean forward hard and heatedly when we hear footsteps.

Did I mention it's after hours?

"Under the cloak." I mutter and we hide and watch Professor Snape walk by. He leaves and a silence ensues between us.

"I'm going to bed. Goodnight." I say passive aggressively.

"Y/n wait. Goodnight." He hugs me and I swear I feel a kiss on the top of my head. My anger quickly melts away and I feel content.

The next morning I walk down to breakfast with mixed emotions.

"Y/n! Settle a debate, please. Ronald says this draught of living death doesn't smell correct. I think it does. What do you think?" Hermione asks as I sit, passing me a vial of potion. This happens all the time, the guys never listen to Hermione even though she's always right. I take a huge whiff of the potion and am overwhelmed with a different scent than it should be.

"Woah. What? What kind of pathetic draught of liquid death smells like cologne...?" Apples... a hint of vanilla... and mint? I ask confused, but stop when I realize what it is. Oh. My. God. This isn't draught of liquid death. Looking up at Hermione I see her nod over my shoulder.

"A very pathetic brew in deed." Draco says from behind me. I jump at his voice and cringe.

"I'm gonna kill you, Draco." I say kinda pissed kinda joking.

"You gotta catch me first." He quickly walks away and I follow after grabbing the vial. After we exit the great hall he breaks into a sprint and I follow suit, running after him through the halls. He stops in an empty corridor and adrenaline is coursing through my veins. Shoving him against the wall, I use my teeth to pull the cap off the potion while pinning Draco with one hand. I spit out the cork of the bottle onto the ground.
