"There's no one like Krum." Ron starts.
The twins are doing a jig in place, singing a chant on Irish flags. They pause.

"KRUM?"

"DUMB KRUM!" The other responds.
"He's like a bird the way he rides the wind." Ron continues. The twins run around him chanting, flapping their arms like birds and throw an Irish flag on his shoulders.

"He's more than an athlete, he's an artist." Ron finishes, standing on a stool as if he's some old timey poet.

"Think you're in love Ron?" Ginny asks and I laugh at the twins antics.

"Viktor I love you! Viktor I do!" The twins start singing.

"When we're apart my heart beats only
for youuu!" Harry joins in. They all sing in unison.

"Sounds like the irish have got their
pride on." Fred states, following the sound of a loud bang.

"Stop! Stop it. It's not the irish. We've
gotta get out of here. Now." Arthur runs in, alarmed. Walking out of the tent it's pure chaos, people running around.

"Get back to the portkey everybody, and
stick together. Fred, George... Y/n, Hermione, and Ginny are your responsibility." Arthur says.

We all run, one of the twins grabs onto me. We reach the boot out on the hill and Cedric tackles me in a hug.

"You're okay!!" He exclaims as I cling onto him, terrified.

"Harry!" Hermione shouts at me. I notice a certain raven haired idiot missing. I sigh and run back to the tents with Hermione and Ron, feeling people moving all around us, rushing by.

"There he is!!" I yell loudly. I hug him tightly and help him up.

"Been looking for you for ages. Thought
we lost you." Ron pants.

"What is THAT?" Harry gestures to the sky. Glancing up, we see a monstrous thing in the sky. My eyes widen in realization; The Dark Mark.

Harry grasps his head in pain. People start firing at us from all around, holding their wands up.

"Stop! That's my son." Mr. Weasley charges in, running to where we are, asking if we're okay.

"Which of you conjured this?" Barty Crouch comes charging at us.

"You can't possibly.." Arthur interrupts.

"Do not lie! You have been discovered
at the scene of the crime!" He points his wand at all of us.

"Crime?" Harry asks confused.

"Harry it's his mark." Hermione whispers.

"Those people tonight, in the masks...
they're his too aren't they? they're
his followers." Bartys eyes widen at what Harry said.

We head back to the Burrow and spend our last few nights of summer there, trying to ignore the chaos that occurred that night.

Before we know it, we're boarded on the Hogwarts Express.

"Anything from the trolley? Anything
from the trolley? Anything from the trolley dears?" Asks the little old lady.

"Packet of drewbals and a liquorice wand." Ron stands up. I tune everything out until I hear a feminine voice.

"Two pumpkin pasties please." Cho Chang. Harry and Cho look at each other and smile, Harry keeps staring at her, a look in his eyes. What the hell was that? I start ignoring it.

I tune everyone out for the rest of the ride. We walk into the Great Hall and I stay with Hermione.

"Did you see Harry and Cho earlier?" I ask. She gives me a sad look and nods.

"Don't think about it too much, dear." She reassures. I sigh. I rest my head in my hands and stare at the table as the first years get sorted.

I feel eyes on me and look behind me, seeing Cedric waving at me happily from the HufflePuff table. I smile and wave back, my mood lifted.

"Now we're all settled in and sorted,
I'd like to make an announcement. This
castle will not only be your home this
year but home to some very special guests
as well. You see Hogwarts has been choosen..." Dumbledore starts. Filch runs up and interrupts him. "So Hogwarts has been choosen to host to a legendary event. The Tri-Wizard tournament.
Now for those of you who do not know,
the tri-wizard tournament brings together
three schools for a series of magical
contests. From each school a single
contestant is selected to compete. Now
let me be clear, if choosen you stand
alone. And trust me when I say these
contests are not for the faint hearted,
but more of that later. For now please
join me in welcoming the lovely ladies
of the Beauxbatons Academy of magic
and their headmistress Madam Maxime." He finishes.

The door swings open and in walk the girls. I see all the boys practically drooling over them and roll my eyes, Hermione doing the same. The boys stare at their asses, which aren't thaaat impressive, it's not our fault our robes don't accentuate it like those blue dresses do! I glance over and see Cedric looking bored. He's one of the only ones not gawking at the girls. Curious, I see who else is not looking at them. Surprisingly Draco isn't paying attention either. His eyes are on me. Cold and grey.

"And now our friends from the north,
please greet the proud sons of Durmstrang
and the high master Igor Karkaroff." Dumbledore announces.

In walks the boys, all of them muscular and serious looking. Ron exclaims that it's Viktor Krum as he walks by, eyeing Hermione. I feel eyes on me, and see Cedric starting at me. I smile at him and he smiles back, his cheeks dusted red.

The headmasters exchange greetings and the feast begins.

"Your attention please! I would like
to say a few words. Eternal glory, that
is what awaits the student who wins
the tri-wizard tournament. But to do
this that student must survive three
tasks. Three extremely dangerous tasks." Dumbledore announces after dinner.

"Wicked." I hear the twins a few seats down and smile at them.

"For this reason the ministry has seen
fit to impose a new rule. To explain
all this we have the head of the department
of international magic cooperation Mister
Bartimus Crouch." He finishes.

Thunder roars overhead and everyone screams as a figure steps out and fires a spell, fixing the ceiling. I recognize him.

"Bloody hell, it's Mad-Eye Moody." Ron confirms my suspicions.

"After much deliberation the ministry has concluded that for their own safety no student under the age of seventeen shall be allowed to put forth their name for the tri-wizard tournament. This decision is final." People boo and yell out, upset at this rule.

"That's rubbish! You don't know what
you're doing!" George yells out.

"Silence!" Dumbledore booms.

Dumbledore casts a spell and a goblet containing a blue flame forms; The Goblet of Fire.

"The goblet of fire. Anyone wishing to
submit themselves for the tournament
merely write their name upon a piece
of parchment and throw it in the flame
before this hour on Thursday night.
Do not do so lightly, if choosen there's
no turning back. As from this moment
the tri-wizard tournament has begun."
