First Date

As We walked away from the house and towards his car parked in the street we didn't say anything, but we both had the most ridiculous smiles on our faces. The smiles said it all. Everything was right. "I can't believe Drew's letting this happen" I said still in shock.

"Me too but I'm not complaining" he said as he opened my door running to his side when I was in.

He turned the radio on and our favorite song was on...Ride With Me by Nelly. Yeah it's old but we've loved this song forever. We started singing and laughing. Soon we pulled into parking lot and got out.

We held hands and walked down the beach in silence. But not the awkward silence, the one where you are both happy and feel safe together.We approached a small cave and Wesley motioned for me to follow him. As we walked into the cave it got really dark so we turned on our flashlights from our phones. We walked for a mile just talking and giggling about our own stupidity. We had walked for at least a mile and now he was telling me about the time when him and Keaton went to a school dance but their dates didn't show, so they danced together. I was laughing so hard when I saw a light at the end of the cave. Wes grabbed my hand as we took of running.

At the end of the cave I looked up to see that we were only about a hundred yards away from the ocean. "Wesley why did we just walk a mile to get to here rather than walk above ground?"

"Well because I wanted to spend more time with my beautiful girlfriend"

"Oh really?"

"Mmhm"

"Is She Here?"

"Well that's the problem I was hoping that maybe you would be my girlfriend?" He looked like he was gonna pass out. Was he really that nervous?

Me being the pain in the ass I am decided to have some fun with this "I'll have to think about this" I said in a dead serious tone

"What!?" He looked like he'd seen a ghost.

"Yeah I mean...." I started laughing so hard. I couldn't keep doing this. "You- You should have seen you-your face" I laughed

"Whatever" He mumbled

"Awe Wesley come here I'm sorry I just couldn't help it. I love you Wesley" Whoop There It Is

"You love me?"

"Yeah I do I know--" He cut me off with a kiss. It took me a second but I started to kiss back. Everything felt so good. I felt safe. "You want to go to the beach?" I asked as I pulled away. He nodded and we took off. I got to the beach and took off my tank top and shorts running to water. Wesley came up behind me and scooped me up running to the water. I threw my head back laughing (Like a little kid...Taylor Swift moment :) ). He dropped me in the water and we splashed and played. After and hour the sun started setting so we watched it as we sat on the beach as we dried off. He stood up and I grabbed his hand. I put my clothes back on and we got in his car.

On the ride back we put the top down and my hair was blowing everywhere. We sang along to the radio.

We pulled up to the house and walked in. "Baby girl I'm really tired and if we're gonna shop tomorrow I need sleep" He laughed

"Okay goodnight." I kissed him and we went to our rooms.
