Special Chapter

Me and Lucas are getting married today! Kasama ko sina Cindy, Nika at 'yung mga lalaki. They're in the other room.

"I'm excited! I can't believe you're getting married today!" Cindy said.

"By the way, great choice of gown! It's simple and elegant!" Nika said while staring at my wedding gown.

My mom and I just chose a simple off shoulder princess wedding dress. It doesn't have any crystal on it, it's just simple and has a little bit of lace on it. And, I like that about my wedding dress.

"Yeah, kaso it's too expensive for me lang ah," sagot ko. While, someone is doing my make-up and hair.

"Eh Lucas likes that gown, kaya 'yan din naman ang binili n'yo," sagot ni Nika.

"He really likes to spoil you, huh?" sabi ni Cindy.

"Hi, maam! Congrats po!" my secretary ebtered the room. She is also invited on my wedding.

"Thank you! Di ka pa ba nakakapag-ayos? After me, upo ka dito para maayusan," I said to her. I noticed that she is out of breath.

"Ahh okay lang po! Ako na lang magme-make-up sa sarili ko. Nakakaabala pa po ako sa inyo," she answered.

Once they finished my hair and make-up, they told me to wear the wedding dress and Nika and Cindy helped me with putting it on.

"Bagay na bagay sa'yo!" Cindy complimented me.

"Salamat. Kasya naman s'ya sa akin, di na s'ya sumikip or lumuwag," sabi ko.

I twirled around and looked at the mirror again. I look stunning.

"Sweetie! Nasaan po si Sandra?" I heard mom outside the room. Nasa isang kwarto kase kami for privacy sa pagsusuot ko ng dress.

"Mom! I'm here!" I yelled.

She opened the door and I saw ger on a beautiful white dress. "Sweetie! Oh my! You're so gorgeous! By the way, you told me yesterday that you need something borrowed? Here's a necklace and a pair of earrings! Sa lola mo pa ito," she said.

Cindy and Nika went out of the room. Mom and I got left here, inside this room.

"It's pretty. Then, blue pa ng kaunti 'tong earrings. I like it," sagot ko. I picked up the earrings and put it on. It is just a light blue earrings," it suits my dress.

My mom tried to put the necklace on my neck but then someone took it from her. It's dad.

"Sabi ko na eh. I knew you're gonna get married this year," dad said, sobbing.

"Oh, dad! Why are you crying? Stop it! Maiiyak ako nito eh!" I looked away because I can't see my dad crying.

"Ano ba 'yan! Ang da-drama n'yo. Stop it! Magugulo make-up ni Sandra!" sita ni mom kay dad. Dad stopped crying and put the necklace on my neck.

"Dont eorry, sweetie. Wala 'yang spell or something," she whispered on my ear.

I laughed. "Kung meron? Ano naman kaya, hmm?" I asked.

We decided to go outside of the room because mom said that my hair needs to get fixed a little bit.

My wedding with Lucas, is really private. We only invited close families and friends. On my side, I invited of course my mom and dad, my friends. Like, Nika, Cindy, Tyron, Jacob, and Mark. Syempre, their kids should go with them too.

On the other room, the kids are playing. Pumunta na doon sina Cindy at Nika para bantayan ang mga bata. Kasama nila sina Jake at isa pang anak nina Kuya Lewis at Ate Jaz.

"Okay na po maam," the hairstylist informed me. She already fixed my hair.

While on Lucas's side, he invited his family and basically that's all because they actually bave a big family and he told me he really doesn't have any friends.

While walking on the aisle, while I'm getting nearer, I'm getting more nervous. Dad was beside me and I'm holding a bouquet of flowers.

I was getting teary-eyed but stopped my tears because I don't wanna ruin my make-up and look ugly at my wedding.

When we reached the end of the aisle and I was already facing Lucas, looking dashing and charming.

After the wedding ceremony, our close family decided to share some sweet messages for us. Me and Lucas.

"Hi, son! I just want to tell you that uh congratulations. Be a good husband to Sandra. Take good care of her and of course your future daughter or son," tito said and stepped down the small stage.

"Sandra, Lucas. I just can't wait for my future grandchildren. Be fast, hmm? Kidding aside, congrats to the both of you. Finally, Sandra you're officially part of our family. Welcome to the family, Sandra," tita said.

The couple both took a seat and Leah, Ate Jaz, and Kuya Lewis prepared to say their own message.

"Hi Ate Sandra! I'm excited to spend more time with you but of course as sister-in-laws right? Uh, I really don't have anything to say. But, congratulations to the both of you!" Leah said.

"Lucas be a good husband, hmm? I hope the two of you will enjoy your honeymoon. Don't forget to call me after that, I know a really good OB, you know I could recommend you," Kuya Lewis winked at us. That made the both of us laughed.

"Sandra. I think I already told you what I wanna say and let's keep that a secret, hmm? Congrats to the both of you," Ate Jaz said.

Then, it was mom and dad's turn to say a few things to us.

"Lucas, I treat you now as my own son I hope you take care of my princess. And Sandra, I didn't know that it was gonna be this quick. I thought you were gonna get married at forty? Anyways, take good care of Lucas and be a caring and loving wife, okay? Congrats my kids," dad said he is starting to cry whick made me sad.

"Sweetie! Lucas! Congrats! Be good to each other. I really don't know what to say anymore. Uh, no more spells! I promise!" mom crossed her fingers and smiled at us.

Yeah, I wish there would no more spells included in our relationship.

"I love you, love."

Lumingon ako. "I love you too."

We picked up our wine glasses and gave a toast to our new chapter.
