It ended up being an extremely slow day

It ended up being an extremely slow day. You cursed whoever was in charge of your life for it. You struggled all day in the office. You barely could focus.

Your mind was stuck on Spencer and your multiple conversations with him. You nearly wanted to strangle him a couple of times for screwing you over. You just chose to channel that anger into focusing on your work instead.

It was like you were going through the five stages of grief, just without the denial and bargaining part. It was mostly just anger and depression. You just haven't reached the acceptance part yet. You don't know if you ever will honestly.

When it was finally time to leave, you immediately grabbed your things and left without saying goodbye to anyone. You just needed to get out of there. You couldn't bear to look at Spencer for the millionth time.

You also even pondered on transferring. Going back to Milwaukee sounded real nice right now. Maybe you could somehow beg Hotch to transfer you there?

But, it wasn't right to just escape him. You have to just face him and hope you'll eventually move on yourself.

You went back and forth all day. You hated that he admitted his feelings, making you do the same thing, only for him to dismiss them and go back to her. What is he trying to do?

Somehow you ended up at the shooting range in the midst of everything. You just stood outside, wondering how long you were in your bubble for. You just shrugged a few seconds later and decided to go in  It would be nice to get some practice in, and hopefully get some of your frustrations out. Who knows how this is going to end.

"Agent Y/l/n, how can we help you today?" One of the agents asks from behind the counter with a smile.

"I'm gonna get some practicing in, if you don't mind." You answered, giving a small smile in return.

"Of course. We'll get everything set up for you. Here's a locker key to place your things in a locker." The agent gives you a key.

"Thanks." You smiled and walked off, going to a locker. You unlocked one, placing your things in it, locking it up when you were done. You dropped the key into your pocket and went into the room.

A station was already set up for you. You walked up to it and took a deep breath, putting on your glasses and headphones.

You picked up a glock-17 and the magazine, sliding it into the insert, clicking it into place. You unlocked the gun, getting yourself into position and aimed the barrel at the center of the target. You pulled the trigger soon after, flinching when it fired.

When you felt that adrenaline running through you as you took that shot, you kept shooting towards the targets. You continued shooting for another 20 minutes before feeling more calmer than you were earlier. You put down the gun, and sighed.

You took off your glasses and headphones and left them on the table next to the gun. You made your way out and went to the locker to grab your things. After grabbing your things, you made your way to the front desk and handing the key back.
