You had your eyes squeezed shut as you were awaiting death. The bullet goes into your head and you fell over. You looked up to see Spencer screaming and yelling as JJ shoots David. You started to close your eyes as your life starts to flash before you.
Spencer's POV:
"No, no, no, no, no. Y/n, stay with me!" Spencer cried out as he approached her, falling to his knees. I took my hands and I brushed her hair out of her face as I sobbed.
"We need medics, now!" JJ says sternly into her microphone.
Soon after, the rest of the team comes into the room to see Y/n and David on the floor. Hotch checks David and he's still alive.
"Spencer, she's gone.." Emily whispers as she had tears on her eyes after checking Y/n's pulse.
"No, no, no. She isn't gone. I can't lose her. She's not dead until the doctors say she's dead. She can't be dead, Emily." Spencer replied, not believing Emily.
The medics immediately found us and they took Y/n on a stretcher. They started CPR and gave her oxygen to bring her back. They rolled her out and Spencer followed.
"Reid, where are you going?" Derek calls out after him.
"The hospital, I'm not leaving her." Spencer replied, turning back to look at Derek and Hotch.
"I'll come with you." Hotch says and Spencer stopped to let Hotch catch up.
Hotch and I both entered the ambulance and they shut the door and continued CPR on the road to the hospital.
"Reid, if she ends up being alive, we need to take precautions and get her out of the US. She cannot be here with David still alive." Hotch explains, keeping his voice low.
Spencer nodded and sniffled, watching the medics still performing CPR.
"I know, but she needs to make it first." Spencer whispered to Hotch. He puts a hand on Spencer's shoulder and gives a comforting squeeze.
"How long?" Hotch asks, making Spencer look at Hotch with confusion in his eyes.
"What?"
"How long have you two been together?" Hotch asks, being more specific with his question this time.
"Not long. But we've dated before then things became complicated. We just got close again and we wanted to try to fix our relationship." Spencer answered truthfully, not wanting to hide anything anymore.
