Chapter Six: One Down

Oswald sat up in his bed and stared down at his partner and gently placed his hand on his lovers cheek and brushed his hair away from his face and smiled "mm, morning" his boyfriend groaned in a raspy voice "morning Eddy" he said leaning down and kissing his forehead lightly, Ed sat up and pulled Oswald down and straddled his waist "breakfast?" he said and Oswald rolled his eyes "and run into the freaks we're harboring?" Ed lopsidedly smiled "if you actually gave them a chance you might be surprised how nice they are" "I've worked with Jerome, he's a maniac, I've been enemies with Barbara and Tabitha and they're bitches, I've gone head to head with Ivy and she bothers me and the other two, they just showed up in Gotham randomly and I've never heard of them before, I don't know what their angle is but I know I don't trust them" Ed smiled and kissed his boyfriends cheek "you're wound too tightly, let me help you relax" he kissed down his chest, Oswald smiled and leaned his head back and shut his eyes.

Jerome laid on his back in his bed not sleeping a wink, he couldn't get Nyssa out of his head, he wanted her, he knew he couldn't love her and he definitely didn't love her, but she intrigued him, he wanted to feel her, he'd never been rejected before and he couldn't get his head around the fact that Nyssa had, multiple times.

Nyssa rolled over in her bed and fluttered her eyes open and her mind instantly went to Jerome's beautiful sparkling eyes, she shook her head and heard her stomach growl hungrily and she smiled and threw the covers off her.

Barbara rolled over to face Tabitha who looked at her and smiled "morning" Tabby said tiredly and linked their hands together "wanna have a bed day Tab? we don't have anything important to do today" Tabby smiled and leaned forward and pecked her lips "you read my mind" Tabby smiled and then slightly frowned causing Bab's to in confusion "what's up babe?" Tabby took a deep breath "it's Jerome, I don't trust him.. with you or anyone" she said and Barbara rolled her eyes "you're the one that said you wanted to be in an open relationship" she said sitting up pulling her hand from Tabitha's "and I still want to be, but.. do you have to do it with him of all people?" Barbara rolled her eyes and faced her "he's not that bad.. so he's a little crazy, who the hell isn't in this city?" "I just don't want him hurting you, you know how unpredictable he is and how easily he can snap" "what if I like it when he hurts me?" Bab's said running her tongue over her pearly white teeth seductively "just promise me, you'll be careful around him" Bab's raised her right hand and smiled "scouts honor baby" Tabby smiled and pulled her into her lap "I love you" she said leaning up and kissing her "I love you too, Tabby" she said kissed her lips back "now, about that bed day?" Tabby said placing a hand on Bab's thigh and the other hand around her back to hold her in her lap Bab's smirked and roughly pushed her down back into the pillows and leaned down.

Tris looked down at her alarm clock and groaned being disappointed that it was morning, she threw her covers off her and jumped to her feet and tiredly strolled into the bathroom, she splashed some water on her face and looked in the mirror and at the purple bags under her eyes, she could sleep for a week and still be tired and look like death in the morning, she heard feminine giggling in the room next to hers, that was Tabitha and Barbara's, she didn't understand their relationship and the fact that her cousin was okay with her occasionally having sex with her girlfriend, she shook her head and checked her phone, she opened up Jerome and her's messages and stared at the chat bar, she would never admit it, but she felt herself slowly falling for him even though she knew it was stupid, she knew he wasn't interested in her just in what she had to offer, he wouldn't even let her kiss him or stay in his bed, she knew they would never be anything more than what they are but she couldn't help but want more, she also knew how interested in Nyssa he was and that made her slightly envious, she'd never say that out loud but she wished she had the attention Nyssa had from him, she took a deep breath sat her phone down and threw herself face first into her bed, feeling her heart slowly break over him.
