I left the district and looked for Emily until I saw her sitting on a bench all by herself while the others were working. I approached her and when she saw me she looked away.

"Did you really think you didn't matter to anyone?" she asked

"We need to talk somewhere else." I said

Without asking she got up and we left to a place where there was no one.

"Answer my question." said Emily

"Yes I did." I replied

She started tearing up, shaking her head.

"Then everything about our relationship was a lie?" she asked

"Before I answer that answer my question." I said

"What question?" she asked

"If I never changed would you still have loved me?" I asked

"Of course I would what kind of retarded question is that?!" yelled Emily

"Then why did you reject me before and then confessed after I changed?" I asked

"Why, I can't develop feelings for someone who changed?!" she continued to yell

"Then explain to me why you changed after I changed." I said

"Huh?"

"After you noticed that I changed you became a lot affectionate to me like a different person." I replied

That seemed to catch her off guard and she nervously looked around.

"I just wanted to change." she whispered

"Then answer this question." I continued, "Did you love me because I changed into your type?"

Her eyes widened like I caught her red handed.

"I knew it." I said

"No Ajax you don't understand for fucks sake you don't fucking understand!" she began to raise her voice

"No stop lying to yourself." I snapped

"No you don't understand the whole story! Okay I loved you since we met but I doubted myself because I didn't think I would fall in love with someone like you before. But when you changed I didn't develop more feelings. My feelings were already there. I just felt sorry and wanted to help you!" she yelled

I stood there silent while watching Emily cry.

"You've only proven my point." I said

Emily looked up at me, her teary eyes widened in surprise.

"Maybe I shouldn't have given you that chance." I said

"No Ajax please don't leave me, I'm sorry I swear I loved you." she pleaded

"I never said I was going to leave you." I replied

She looks at me surprised.

"And I never said I regretted giving you a chance even though I just said I shouldn't have given you it." I said, "You were able to prove yourself that you really loved me."

I hugged her and she started crying into my chest.

"Sorry for getting you worried." I said

"Every security detail has changed thanks to Armin." said Erwin
