Eren's POV

"Where's Recon?" asked Ghost

"She said she's staying behind to take care of things." replied Aid

Ghost seemed off about it but he just nodded and the Osprey took off.

2 hours later

"Let's keep moving. We don't have the exact location of it." said Levi

I swung through the snowy mountains, searching for a laboratory factory somewhere in the mountains.

"Are you sure our intel is right?" asked Nanaba

Levi nodded in response but I wasn't so sure.

"Captain, look." called out Armin

I looked up and I saw some smoke up ahead.

"Looks like smoke coming out from a smoke stack." said Mike

Mike took a sniff of the air and nodded.

"Burning smoke." added Mike

"Let's move then." said Levi, "Ghost we think we got something."

"The smoke?" asked Ghost through my headset

"Yea, we're going to that site right now." said Levi

"We're already here, rally on us then." replied Ghost

I looked at my forearm watch and turned it on, showing a map of Ghost teams location.

"Let's go." said Levi

We swung through valleys, over trees and small streams until we saw Ghost team on a cliff overlooking a huge laboratory facility.

"Holy shit." whispered Annie

"Let's avoid unnecessary casualties, Armin, call in a missile strike. Thunder team should be on standby." said Ghost

"This is Scout team 104, requesting fire missions on these coordinates over." said Armin through his headset as he sent them the coordinates through his forearm watch.

"This is Thunder 1-1, target acquired. Standby." replied a voice

I looked up and ahead I saw three A-10 thunderbolts approaching the site. The laboratory began blaring their sirens as the A-10s dropped cluster bombs on the site. The entire factory blew up and it was engulfed in fire.

"Good hit, requesting a second round." said Armin

"Copy that, turning for second round." said the same voice

The A-10s rotated back and dropped another round of cluster bombs, burning and exploding the remaining parts of the factory.

"No life signs detected, everything there is dead." said Hacker

"Good work thunder team return to base." said Armin

"Move out." said Ghost

We began moving to our rally point but then Hacker stopped and began to look back at the cliff.

"I don't think, everyone's dead." said Hacker

"You said that there were no life signs detected." said Nanaba

But then Ghost seemed to look worried as well.

"Ghost what's wrong?" asked Aid

"I just feel like, there wasn't a single person there to begin with." said Ghost
