Eren's POV
Our ride back home was dead silent, no one spoke a single word after what happened 8 hours ago. Lieutenant Ghost lost the people he loved the most twice in his life, I don't think anyone has ever experienced that before.
I was back home getting ready to cure the world after the Garrison fleet arrives in 10 minutes, from there we wait for Commander Recon which I hope turns out well.
"Eren..." whispered Annie
I looked at her and she seemed really worried.
"I didn't think, it'll end like this." she whispered
"Neither did I." I replied
"I think he hates us all now." she said
"He has every right to." I replied
Phantom's POV
Ghost has been ignoring us the entire ride and now he's just sitting on a chair looking down at his hands.
"Emily!"
I turned around and my dad and Ajax's foster parents were running towards us.
"We received the news! You guys did it!" exclaimed my dad
"I knew you guys could do it." said Andrew
He was laughing and smiling but when he saw my face he raised an eyebrow while smiling.
"But what's up with the solemn faces?" he asked
He looked around and noticed Ghost and his miles disappeared.
"Where's Kairos and Sarah?" I asked
I shook my head and they're expressions turned into sadness.
"But how?" asked my dad

Recon's POV
I entered the laboratory room after I heard some kind of yelling inside, Patrick and Hange seemed to be in a bit of a disagreement.
"What's going on?" I asked
Both of them looked at me and Patrick picked up a cylinder bottle with some kind of blue liquid in it.
"What is that?" I asked
"This is the cure." replied Patrick
"Then we should hurry up and prepare." I said
"No but the thing is." said Hange
She sighed and took off her glasses.
"It kills titan cells, which means it'll kill off clones as well." she said
I stood there silent, knowing what was up.
"We've been trying multiple times to change something up but we either fail or get the same result. We even scratched it entirely and started over but we still got the same results." said Hange
"Is there a problem?"
I turned around as Ghost's parents walked in. Hange immediately tried to hide the cure but Ghost's dad just smiled.
"We heard everything." said his dad
His dad looked at me and nodded.
"Time isn't on our side." he said, "We hide it from my son."
