CHAPTER 16

I woke up because my alarm rang and I forgot to turn it off. I guess I'm fine now. I went downstairs to eat my breakfast and I saw them having breakfast already.

"Goodmorning" I kissed Mom's forehead.

"Dad, What's that?" I asked him. He's holding a paper.

"It's an invitation from De Guzman" he answered and gave to me the invitation.

I read it and it says that we are invited to 21st birthday of Kuya Nicholas. He is the older brother of Liam. The venue is at Cebu!

"The venue is at Cebu?" I asked them and they nodded at me.

"They said that they will pay for our expenses" I was shocked when Kuya said that.

"Really?!"

"Yes. I think we're staying there for 2 nights and 3 days" Mom answered me.

"How about school?" I asked.

"Wala naman kayong pasok next friday and uuwi rin tayo ng Sunday Morning" I nodded at daddy. "You should pack your luggages. It's next week"

We continued eating and I was really shocked when they said that Liam's family will pay for our expenses. I know it's his brother birthday but the airplane ticket is so expensive! They have so many money!

I went to my room to clean my closet because it's not organized. I started first with my clothes. I have so many clothes! I decided to let go of the clothes that I wouldn't wear and just donate it. I arranged them by color so it would look nice.

Hour passed and I'm done with my clothes. I also arranged my bags and shoes. I just realized that I have so many things and also I have so many makeups but I don't want to let go my bags and makeups. I finished fixing my things so I decided to wash up cause I'm so sweaty na.

After I washed up, I texted Sam and asked her how's school and I also asked her for the assignments. It's Friday today and I guess I have a long weekend. For the meantime, I watched movies and series.

"Andrea! Andrea!" I heard kuya's voice calling me so I went downstairs.

"Why are you yelling?! You can call me through phone duh?!" I said to him.

"May bisita ka. Papasukin mo" he's busy with ps4 that's why he didn't open the door.

"Argh! Who's that ba?" I opened the door and I was shocked when I saw Liam holding a cute puppy!

"Hello! I have to give something to you!" he cutely said.

"Go inside first" I said to him and he went inside. "Why did you bring a dog?" I asked him.

"I asked your parents. Wala akong maisip na iregalo sa'yo sa birthday mo" he explained.

"Matagal pa birthday ko ha" I said to him.

"Maaga dumating sa bahay e. My brothers don't like dogs so I brought it here" he said.

"What's his breed?" I asked him while I pet the puppy. I super love dogs!

"He's a Siberian Husky. I ordered it abroad."

"Abroad? Omg! You can buy it sa pet's store lang ha" I said.

"I want to buy it from abroad" I nodded at him.

"Yawa! Bakit may aso?!" sigaw na naman ni kuya.

"Liam bought it for me. Don't shoo him away!"
I said to him.

"Sino mag-aalaga diyan?" he asked.

"I can take care of him" I confidently said.

"I can go here to wash him. Ako naman tatay niyan" Liam said and I was shocked when he said that.

"Aso ka din? Biro lang 'bro" kuya said.

"Anong name niya?" I asked Liam and he also sat beside me.

"I don't know. You decide" he said and he also scratched the dog's head.

"How about Butters? Hindi ako magaling magpangalan" I said to him.

"That's a good name. Hello Butters! This is your Mommy" he cutely said to the dog.

"Hello baby! You're so cute!" I kissed the dog and he kissed me too!

"How old is he?" I asked Liam.

"He is only three months old" he answered "Do you want to teach him some tricks?" I nodded at him.

We went outside to play with the dog. He also brought some treats.

"Okay, Butters sit!" he said and the dog won't listen to him.

"Ayaw niya makinig sa'yo. My turn" I went in front of the dog. "Butters! Sit!" I said and the dog listened to me! "Goodboy!!! Here's your treats"

"Oh ano? Galing ko diba?" I confidently said to Liam.

"Bakit ayaw makinig ni baby kay Daddy?" he cutely said and went to the Butters.

We continued playing with Butters and we also took some photos with him.

"Hey! Smile!" Liam called me so I hugged Butters and smile at the camera "You're cute"

"Huh? What did you say?" I asked him cause I didn't understand what he was saying.

"Nothing. Just play with him" I nodded at him.

Butters was tired so we decided to give him food. Liam was teaching me how to take care of the dog.

"You always feed him on the right time and also please give him vitamins every after eating. Walk with him every morning and teach him where to pee. Can you do that?" he asked.

That's so many! I can't even take care of myself but I can do this!

"You want me to stay here?" I looked at him "Just kidding. I'll come here if I have time" he said.

"Dito ka na kumain. My parents are coming home na" I said and he nodded at me.

"Are you free tomorrow?" he asked and I nodded at him. "Let's buy things for our baby. I mean for your dog" he scratched his head looking away with me.

"Alright. He will sleep beside me right?" I asked him.

"Yeah. Be careful he might pee on your bed" he said.

"Arghh! Don't pee on our bed Butters!" I said to the dog. He was sleeping pala.

After an hour, my parents got home and we decided to eat dinner.

"Oh! You bought the dog na pala?" my mom asked Liam.

"Yes tita, dumating po siya ng maaga sa bahay and my brothers doesn't like dogs kaya dinala ko na po rito" he said and mom nodded at him.

"Alagaan mo yan Andrea" dad said.

"Yes naman" I answered.

"Can I take Andrea with me tomorrow?" Liam asked them. "We're buying things for the dog po" he explained.

"It's okay. I think she's okay naman na" mom answered.

"Do you need money ba? Go home before dinner ha" dad said.

"I have money po. Thank you" Liam answered dad's question.

We continued eating and my parents are asking Liam about the birthday party. Liam said that they have private airplane! Mayaman sila!
