Still during Amanda's college days and a little fast forward to her young adult life...

Every little thing that's been happening still troubles her mind.

Ever since that rainy night of the incident, Amanda hasn't been able to sleep longer and peacefully. Her conscience haunts her in her dreams.

But the fear that the murderer threatened to kill both her parents still remains inside her.

Amanda smiled when her name was called on stage. Smoothening her toga and adjusting her cap, she took a deep breath and walked to the stage.

Catalin, Amanda L.
Summa Cum Laude

Amanda heard the sound of applause from her friends and classmates upon the declaration.

Amanda squeezed her parents arms excitedly as she marched to the stage accompanied by them.

She gladly took her diploma and shook hands with the Dean and Chancellor of the Department. They congratulated her and her parents and she thanked them afterwards.

Her mother happily put her medal over her when she took of her cap for a moment. Together with her father beside her, they posed for a picture before walking off the stage.

She was greeted with loud hoots from her friends when she returned to her seat.

The graduation ceremony finished immediately after she gave her speech.

Amanda and her friends automatically posed for a group picture and then with her bestfriend, Chloe and Rudolph.

"Ma-mimiss kita, beshie!" Chloe wailed and hugged her tightly. Amanda could only laugh but admitted she felt sad about that reality.

"Hahaha ka talaga! Mamimiss ka dyan! Iisang subdivision lang tayo! Halos bahay mo na nga kwarto ko kada weekend ka nandon!" Amanda teased.

"Magpanggap ka namang malayo pupuntahan ko! Wala ka talagang pakisama!" Chloe interjected and they both laughed.

"Leng! Lika na!" Chloe rolled her eyes when her mother called her. "Congrats, Amay!" Trina Stanford, Chloe's mother, congratulated her as she approached her daughter. Tita Trina even hugged her and kissed her cheek.

"Thank you po, Tita!" Amanda smiled widely.

"Mauna na kami ha. Alam kong may celebration din kayo sa inyo." Tita Trina bid their goodbyes and so did her own parents.

"Congrats din, Leng and Trina!" Amanda's parents, Delia and Enrico said and waved goodbye.

As they were walking to the parking lot, Amanda felt the hairs on her nape  stood up. She felt being watched.

Amanda glanced sideways and found no one. She let her parents enter the car first and checked once again the parking lot before going inside the car.

Fortunately, they arrived at the restaurant they used to celebrate special occasions at safely.

Amanda silently gushed at the beautiful spot in the restaurant her father reserved for them. She saw pink and white flowers pinned on the walls making it look lovelier than usual.

Amanda also marveled at the lush greens at the veranda of the restaurant that serves as their view.

Natural air welcomed them as they sat comfortably in their seat.

Automatically, she requested her mom to take her photo with the congratulatory bouquet of flowers on their table and a crisp fine dining set-up.
