I am his Dictionary: Epilogue
Dionisio Venturero
"Sinasauli ko na yung dictionary, salamat..." my girl classmate said.
She smiled shyly and she put her hair behind her ear. I smiled and put the dictionary on my bag.
I think this is the right time to call him. I miss him so much.
Hindi ako nakauwi sa Casa Poblacion noong birthday niya, that's why I feel sad and empty these past few days.
"Hello, Ma?" Mama called early in the morning.
"Dionisio, hindi tayo uuwi sa Casa Poblacion. We'll celebrate christmas here in Manila, I just want to inform you..." she said gracefully.
They are busy, as always.
"Dionisio, hijo, ilang taon ka na ba? You're so handsome! Wala pa ring girlfriend?" My Tita queried in the middle of our grand dinner here in their mansion.
"Im turning twenty next year, Tita. And I have no girlfriend," because I have him, Jorito Siao, my dictionary. He's not a girl but he stole my heart and touched my soul.
"Oh! Why? That's shocking news! What happened now, hijo?" daldal ni Tita.
"Maybe, he realized his main priorities now, Cecilia! He realized that love can wait and education first!" Tito Gary added, he's a gay and I respect him so much.
He's a quiet person but his silence today is strange. His words are filtered and matured.
But my love is more innocent and shy compare to him. Ryu has a savage face and he's straightforward.
He has also a brother- Kuya Abraham. And our grandfather is Segismundo Venturero the second child of Amanda Poblacion, my great grandma.
Next is, Tita Leonila followed by Auntie Cecilia, then my father, Gerardo and lastly, Tito Gary. They all want to enjoy our lives as a youth but they don't want us to destroy our future. At ginagawa namin iyon.
I have so many cousins and we're all good and close to each other.
