First, I want to apologize for the lack of updates. I've had writers block, but I know where I want the story to go, it's just a matter of getting there. I've also been extremely busy this past week because, believe it or not, I have a life off the internet! Not kidding! Anyways, hope you like the chapter and thx for reading!

Mikey put his arm around me and pulled me up from the ground.

"If you're not careful, you'll catch a cold." he said lovingly.

I nodded and he pulled me inside. Away from my baby.

I stumbled down the stairs. It was almost a drunk sensation. Numbness.

My eyes saw in a blur and a dizzying sensation came over me. I collapsed in Mikey's arms as we reached the last few steps of he stairs.

Mikey scooped me up bridal style and brought me into my bedroom.

I felt weak, but took my strength to clench Mikey's Green Day shirt as a way of letting him know I wanted him to stay.

Mikey slowly sat down on my bed with me still in his arms and laid down.

I snuggled into his chest.

We were both damp from the rain and Mikey's scent traveled into me. Somewhere in between coffee and a fresh rain.

Mikey was somehow warm while I was freezing and I started to shiver. Mikey pulled me close and wrapped his arms around me in an attempt to warm me up.

His face was inches from mine.

Mikey lent in and I knew what was going to happen. But I didn't care anymore.

His lips crashed into mine.

I stayed still and waited for the fireworks that I had experienced whenever Gerard and I had kissed.

Mikey continued to kiss me and I still waited for the fireworks too kick in.

But they never came.

I finally pulled away.

"Mikey........" I whispered for only his ears.

"Hmm?" he whispered back.

"I can't do this." I whispered for him.

Mikey immediately sat up and pulled away from me.

"Oh. Just forget about it." he snapped at me.

"You know I didn't mean it like that, Mikey."

"Whatever." he mumbled. "You'd be better off without me."

Without any chance to respond, Mikey had jumped up and left.

Alone.

I suddenly realized how exhausted I really was and fell asleep.
