Leyland Adventures Chapter Eleven: Part One
"So Tysashi has been injected with Otomo Poison while fighting Flora?"
"Affirmative, mother. I am heading to Orchtune to obtain the remedy." Her weapons sat in the pockets of her dress while the necklace was placed comfortably around her neck.
"Very well, Tysashi will be safe here so you don't have to worry."
"Where is he now?"
"Still asleep in the room he was left in. I promise he'll survive, now go and secure the cure."
She nodded, leaving the castle with a steady face. Marissa sighed just as she couldn't view her charming daughter anymore, traveling upstairs to the room Tysashi and Alfred were in.
"Your Majesty, the poison has already weakened the control in both legs. As time passes, more restrictions will be placed on his body." The blank tone of his voice failed to adequately express his inner feelings and expanding concerns.
"I see. It's fortunate that his strength is enough to sustain him for three days until the poison kills him. I can't imagine how arduous it'll be to endure the symptoms."
"Perhaps we should keep him asleep as he'll only wake up to agony."
Marissa agreed with his statement, reaching into the drawers of the nightstand and placing a small bronze music box on top. She set the item to play a specific tune that would keep the victim asleep just as long as the environment was calm and free of noise.
Leaving Alfred to attend to his personal duties, the queen went to her own responsibilities.

Finally arriving at Orchtune, her heels tapped the flat, colorful cobblestone path as fond childhood memories played in her mind. Orchtune is renowned for its decorative art and high-class weapons. Not to mention the museum that displays ancient art, armor, and artifacts. The area is home to many shopping centers which is why this location is visited so often.
Gangs of women looking through the shop display windows and children holding their mother's bags are a common sight, just as she remembered. Orchtune reserved a special area in her heart as this was where her mother purchased the iconic white and red dress she still wears today. Even most of her outfits from the past were obtained from this area, so she was always reminded of just how much money her mother spends for her.
She was trapped in her own memories, only escaping once the specific store was in sight. The rectangular, pineapple-colored building contained two large display windows on the outside for customers to view a few examples of their products. An oversized pink heart with glass potions holding purple liquid standing beside it was the logo for the establishment.
Aradressa sharply inhaled air through her nose and returned it, praying that the item she required would be in stock. Pushing the door open, the mysterious and space-like atmosphere matched with the violet walls. The floors detailed with golden symbols of the collection of items available for purchase. Polished, library-like oak shelves housed the items by size and price while descriptions were provided with the slips of paper beside each item.
Even with the impressive décor, her attention remained on one person only, the employee at the register in the far back of the store. Their eyes met as Aradressa relayed her needs and, unfortunately...the last cure for the Otomo Poison was already claimed. Though her eyes were forcing themselves to not drown in tears, those emotions were restrained.
"What are the ingredients for the Overlord Cure?"
"Dislow Liquid from a Driplit, a Tropical Miku Berry, a feather from Ampros, honey from a Sweetheart, a fully grown Luminous Mushroom, and finally, venom from a Taspisnake. You feed the berry to the Driplit which makes it plump, then you kill it for its special Liquid. That liquid purifies and dissolves nutrients from most objects so that's why you need to kill it. From there, just mix everything else with the liquid."
"K- kill it? I can't just extract the liquid with a needle?"
"Driplits require a certain number of nutrients to survive, if the tiniest amount is removed, they'll die so you don't have much of a choice."
An imaginary bullet punctured her heart as the thought of harming such a creature seemed like a sin...though it was for a good cause. Purchasing an empty glass jar and a floral-patterned carrying bag, she was leaving the store right as the employee had another thing to say."
"Hey, to summon Ampros, you have to-" She was cut off shortly as Aradressa knew how to summon the Unibird. She thanked the cashier for the assistance, moving on to Palm Tree Beach for the berry.

"What?! My poor Tysashi, Otomo Poison is extremely dangerous! I'll get the berry! Oh Tysashi..."
Lily's body quivered with concern, a chilling feeling ran through her as she rushed to obtain the item just as Aradressa finished her explanation. She tapped her finger against the glass while her patience dwindled with Tysashi constantly swarmed by pain. Suddenly, she slammed the berry on the glass with stiff arms.
"Don't worry about paying for it, just get it and make my Tysashi feel better!" She demanded.
Though Aradressa wouldn't usually take anyone speaking to her in such a manner, she nodded. As she was exiting, Lily stopped her.
"Oh yeah, when he feels better, can you ask him if he's interested in going out with me?"
That question alone caused her entire body to freeze as a small snake of fire slithered up her body.
"I would like to take him to a variety of places and end the day with a fancy date! It'd mean the world to me if he said yes!"
"I'll...consider it."
"Yay! Thank you, Aradressa! Good luck on your quest to obtain the items you need!" She swayed her hand quick enough to see it as a blur just as Aradressa left, her perfume still lingering around the shop.
"Now to find and kill an irreprehensible Driplit...my nightmares will never forgive me after it's all over."
