EPISODE 1 (1070 WORDS)
I saw the sheriff's police car pull up to the house and he climbed out looking at me confused. He started coming over so I got out of the car and walked towards him.
"Hi, can I help you?" The sheriff asked politely.
"I'm just waiting for Stiles," I replied with a smile.
"You're new here aren't you? You go to school with Stiles?" He asked as Stiles came out of the house and came running over.
"Yeah, I live in the woods. I started school with Stiles the other day." I replied with a smile.
"Oh, you must be Scar. He won't shut up about you." He said laughing making me laugh too.
"Alright come on. That's enough embarrassing me for today." Stiles said guiding me to my car door before opening it for me.
"Nice seeing you again," I said with a smile as I got in my car. I laughed as Stiles was scolding his dad which I couldn't hear but saw as he passed him to get in the passenger's seat. As we started driving to my place I got curious.
"So... Why are you always talking about me to your dad?" I asked making him uneasy.
"He was just joking." He said shrugging it off. I didn't believe him.
"Then how did he know my name?" I asked pressing on.
"You've met before remember?" He asked trying to make me drop the subject.
"We didn't speak to each other last time," I said making Stiles thing of a new lie or excuse.
"Can we just drop it?" He pleaded to which I complied.
"You want to pick the music?" I asked handing him my phone. He smiled at me since I dropped the subject and accepted my offer. We only had time to listen to a few songs before we made it to my house. When we pulled up Stiles looked impressed, We climbed out and went inside. I closed the door behind us which showed my mum I was home.
"Scar, I was wondering-" She started but stopped once she noticed Stiles. "Oh, you must be Stiles it's nice to meet you. I've heard a lot about you." She said making me sigh as Stiles laughed slightly.
"It's a pleasure to meet you too Mrs Frost." He said shaking her hand.
"I like you better already. Your not half-naked and in our pool like the last boy." She said referring to Scott jokingly. I laughed as Stiles looked confused yet intrigued at the same time.
"She's talking about Scott this morning. I'll tell you later. Bye, mum!" I shouted rushing Stiles upstairs.
"I'm going to head out, you kids have fun," My mum said smirking as I looked back at her. Stiles and I went to my room.
"Oh, so, you've been talking about me to your parents too?" Stiles asked with a smirk.
"I mentioned you in passing." I lied. It was a complete lie. I had yapped on about him and Scott quite a lot last night over dinner.
"Then how did she hear a lot about me?" Stiles asked still smirking.
"It's polite to say," I smirked back knowing I had won. He simply sighed in defeat.
"Okay, why was half-naked Scott in your pool this morning?" He asked sitting down on the edge of my bed.
"He woke up in the forest and claimed to see the beast again and was running away when he jumped over a fence and landed in my pool," I explained searching the bookshelves for anything to do with werewolves.
"Wait so why was he half-naked?" He asked confused as he pulled out his laptop from his backpack.
"He fell asleep in just shorts," I explained.
We got onto doing some research and we were pretty silent except when we were showing each other something crucial we had found.
After a while, we decided Scott should know our findings so Stiles texted him to come over to my place as we continued searching.
There was a loud knock on my bedroom door giving Stiles and I a fright. I jumped up to answer it to find Scott smirking. I allowed Scott in.
"You gotta see this thing," Stiles said pushing Scott to sit down on the edge of my bed as we went over to our previous places.
"Is this about the body? Did they find out who did it?" Scott asked getting comfortable on the bed.
"No, they're still questioning people, even Derek Hale," Stiles replied out of breath.
"Oh, the guy in the woods that we saw the other day," Scott remembered.
"Yeah, yes. But that's not it, okay?" Stiles stopped Scott from talking.
"Remember the joke from the other day? Not a joke anymore." I added as Stiles calmed down a little as he was getting too excited.
"The wolf-- the bite in the woods. We started doing all this reading. Do you even know why a wolf howls?" Stiles was getting too excited again. I placed a hand on Stiles' shoulder so he could take a breather and calm down.
"Should I?" Scott asked confused.
"It's a signal. When a wolf's alone, it howls to signal it's a location to the rest of the pack." I replied as Stiles breathed heavily. "So, if we did hear a wolf howling that means others could have been nearby," I added.
"Maybe even a whole pack of them." Stiles continued.
"A whole pack of wolves?" Scott asked shocked.
"No... Werewolves." Stiles replied timidly.
"Are you seriously wasting my time with this?" Scott asked standing up. "You know I'm picking up Allison in an hour," Scott said grabbing his things.
"I saw you on the field today, Scott. Okay, what you did wasn't just amazing, all right? It was impossible." Stiles said enthusiastically.
"Yeah, so I made a good shot." Scott shrugged him off.
"No you made an incredible shot, I mean... The way you moved, your speed, your reflexes." Stiles argued shoving Scott's things down. "People can't just do that overnight. and there's the vision and the senses, and don't even think I don't notice that you don't need your inhaler anymore." Stiles continued pacing around a little.
"Okay! Dude, I can't think about this now. We'll talk tomorrow."
"Tomorrow? What? No! The full moon's tonight. Do you get it?" Stiles replied with the argument getting heated.
