EPISODE 2 (995 WORDS)
"Wha-what are you talking about?" Scott asked making me want to laugh at how nervous he had become. I don't know if it's because of the werewolf inside me or something else but Scott was getting on my nerves.
"You shifted in front of them!" Derek now shouted. God, I wish I had popcorn and a front-row seat right now! "If they find out what you are, they find out about me. About all of us. And it's not just the hunters after us, It's everyone." Derek had a point.
"But... They didn't see anything!" Scott replied finally growing a pair. "I... s-swear, I-" ...Nevermind.
"And they won't! Because if you even try to play in that game on Saturday... I'm going to kill you myself." In a flash, he was gone. That was intense and I loved it. It took all my willpower not to clap and cheer for Derek right now but I knew Stiles would scold me for it.
Scott calmed down and unfortunately, nothing else happened as we all simply chatted for a while till I decided to go to sleep. I was exhausted and needed some rest. The thoughts of being a werewolf infected my mind and I couldn't help but get stressed out. Is this good or bad? My common sense is telling me that it's bad but my heart is telling me that adventure awaits.I woke up determined with no pain at all. I quickly sat up, my eyes focused on the broken alarm clock which lay on the other side of the room. I hurried out and was ready in a flash. I felt so different and a part of me loved it but another believed maybe being a different person isn't such a good thing. I heard someone coming up the porch steps and instantly knew it to be Stiles. I hurried to the door but was there in a matter of seconds. I opened the door before Stiles even knocked. I knew I'd frightened him but he seemed impressed.
"I'm guessing you don't need a ride anymore," He sarcastically commented.
"Doesn't mean I don't want it," I replied seductively giving him a wink which surprised him but made him smirk. I stepped outside and closed the door. I felt like a new person but I just seemed more confident.
I got into his car before he even got to the bottom step of my porch. I smirked as I closed the door once I was inside. Stiles was a little taken back but smiled. I looked in the little mirror to see my makeup was perfect. The eyeliner was sharper than it had ever been, my lips were plump and eye-catching. I was wearing my leather boots and jacket along with side my tight skinny jeans, cuffed at the bottom and a white crop top. Stiles finally made it to the car and started heading to school. He started to trying and piece together a sentence, something to say but just stammered over himself.
"What do you want to ask me, Stiles?" I asked softly, looking at him with big eyes.
"I just don't get it. How is it that the bite has made you so powerful and in control but Scott seems like he's falling apart?" He asked and I scoffed.
"Maybe I'm just better at dealing with problems?" I replied in a questioning tone. He seemed to think about it for a little while but had no time to question it since we made it to school. I got out of Stiles car and started walking to the entrance. I smelt the school cafeteria on the other side of the school preparing the food for lunch and smiled to myself. "I hope you like burgers, that's all they're doing for lunch today," I commented making Stiles laugh.
"No way," He commented so I shrugged.
"Guess you'll have to wait till dinner to see if I was right then," I shrugged and walked on to go to my locker. I didn't have a class with any friends for the two periods and so walked alone in a world of my own. I paid attention to class but all the answers came easy to me as a smart kid in the class spoke under his breath as he wrote out the words. I could hear it crystal clear but the person beside him didn't even seem to hear as they looked puzzled at the first question. I couldn't help but smirk. The bite is a gift.
I walked out of my second period and headed to my locker. I put away my books before hearing Stiles' voice call from down the hall.
"Tell me what they're saying," I turned around to see Scott and Stiles leaning around a corner. I watched for a second once I approached them.
"I can't tell, I can't focus it like that," Scott huffed so I rolled my eyes.
"You're dads telling the headteacher that he wants everyone under the age of 18 home by 9:30 pm. We'd like to institute the curfew effective immediately." I explained and Stiles sighed once his heart rate had slowed down since I frightened him moments ago.
"Unbelievable. My dad's out looking for a rabid animal while the jerkoff who killed the girl is just hanging out doing what he wants." Stiles complained.
"You can't exactly tell your dad the truth about Derek." Scott retorted but I shrugged.
"Why not?" I asked and they both looked at me like I was stupid. "No really, why don't we tell him? I can control it enough so that if he wants proof I can show him without putting him into harm's way. The sheriff of a town should be able to prepare for what may hurt his people," I argued but they didn't seem convinced. Stiles thought about it for a second but shook his head.
