EPISODE 2 (1088 WORDS)
"I don't think he would handle it well," He commented so I nodded and dropped the idea.
"We can at least do something though," He commented with a face of slight disgust.
"Like what?" Scott asked looked defeated.
"Finding the other half of the body." He walked away saying nothing more. I chuckled and followed after him.
"How we doing this?" I asked and Stiles paused in his tracks.
"I have no idea," He sighed before walking on just as the bell rang. I went to class thinking of plans on how to find the rest of the body. We could go to the place his family's house burnt down, the likely hood of him staying there is probably slim. I could just go and see if I can find a scent from him, hunt him like a dog? If he was there he'd probably smell me first though, he has practised in being a werewolf. I got lost in thought thinking of ways around it. How could I make it so he wouldn't smell me? I wonder... No idea seemed good enough. Downstream!
If I approach the building facing against the direction of the wind it could get me a head start so I may be able to smell him out before he smells me. It may be stupid enough to work. The bell rang for the beginning of lunch so I hurried out of the room and to the cafeteria. Stiles was stood in the cue alone. I hurried over.
"Hey, have you seen Scott?" He asked but I shrugged it off.
"I have an idea on how to find the body. I'll be back before the end of lunch, stay here and make sure Scott doesn't ruin my plan," I explained before hurrying off making sure not to go too fast that it doesn't look human.
"What plan?" Stiles called after me but I had no time to lose. I hurried out of the school and realised I didn't drive today. I don't even know where the burnt house is. I looked around for an answer slightly and my eyes landed on an angry Scott. I hurried over.
"I don't have time to pet your ego and calm you down, where is the burndown place Derek use to live?" I asked and Scott grunted through gritted teeth.
"Just follow me," He commented getting on his bike and cycling away.
"No, Scott!" I called after him but he ignored me. "Why did he have to bite Scott?!" I asked aloud in frustration. I looked around seeing Jackson and a guy stood at Jackson's car. I smirked and walked over, instantly catching Jackson's attention. I kept eye contact as I approached. The guy he was with walked away as Jackson gestured for him to leave. I smirked. "I want a ride in your car," I said softly and slightly seductively.
"Get in," He smirked and started heading for the driver's side.
"I want to drive," I commented but he looked at me with a shocked face.
"No one drives this car but me," He defended but I stepped closer, putting a hand on his chest.
"What, afraid I'll be too rough?" I asked and his heart rate increased making a deep pounding in my ear. He chuckled nervously before handing me the keys. I leaned in close to the point where my lips grazed the edge of his ear. "I'll bring it back in 10 minutes," I whispered before pulling away and getting in the car. He hesitated before turning around to see me driving out of the parking spot.
"Wait no," He shouted but I pulled out and was already on my way. I looked around quickly to see Scott and ended up relying on smell and hearing, as soon as I heard his aggressive peddling I knew the way. We pulled into the woods and I decided not to get the car dirty and ran after Scott on his bike, I was close now but he didn't stop until he made it to the house. We were facing the direction of the wind and if Derek was here he knew about it. I sighed in annoyance as my plan was ruined.
Why does Scott have to be so self-centred and powered by emotions rather than rational thought?! I huffed and looked to the figure on the porch. I smelt the blood beside the house instantly. It's here.
"Derek!" Scott shouted repeatedly as I approached, walking behind him. "Leave her alone, she doesn't know anything!" He shouted and I rolled my eyes. He is obsessed with Alison.
"Yeah? What if she does?" He asked starting to approach. I stayed calm and I stood beside Scott, ready to protect. I couldn't beat Derek in a fight but I could take a few hits and give a few. "You think you two and your buddy stiles can just google 'werewolves' and now you've got all the answers, is that it?" He asked before pausing. "You don't get it yet, Scott, but I'm looking out for you. Think about what could happen. You're out on the field, the aggression takes over and you shift in front of everyone." He added before picking up Scott lacrosse staff. "Your mom, all your friends, and when they see you," he effortlessly ripped the netting. Scott continued to breathe heavily. What was he expecting? "Everything falls apart." He finished before chucking the staff in the air. I watched as he hurried away but Scott focused on catching the staff. He looked around puzzled but I chuckled.
"You don't get it yet do you?" I asked in an annoyed tone, moving so I was now stood in front of Scott, facing him. "If you get caught we all do. I saw the hunters that attacked you, they're not going to stop until we're all dead." I sighed before pushing past him and walking back in the direction of Jackson's car. I heard Scott grab his bike and hurry after me."I didn't do anything on purpose," he argued but I scoffed.
"You're right, you didn't, but wither you do it on purpose or not you could get us all killed." I stopped to face him. "You think you can keep Allison safe from Derek? You can't even keep her safe from yourself. You just ruined the only plan that could have helped you but it's okay because you didn't do it on purpose," I retorted in a bitter tone.
