EPISODE 1 (989 WORDS)
I walked through crowds of people who were chatting or bobbing along to the music when I made it outside. I was looking around to see Scott dancing with Allison. I noticed he was fixed onto something and looked over to see the shadow beast on the roof running by. I looked back over at Scott and he was visibly afraid, He just went back to dancing with Allison. I was looking around and bobbing to the music so I didn't look weird just staring at Scott when Jackson came over standing close to me.
"Hey," He said with one side of his mouth curled up into a smirk.
"Hi," I replied being polite over the music.
"You must be new. I think I'd remember such amazing eyes like those." He said stepping closer to me as someone walked behind him.
"Yeah, I started the other day," I replied completely ignoring his statement about my eyes.
"You know, You should watch me play lacrosse sometimes. I'm the captain." He said smirking completely and bragging. I scoffed.
"I've seen you play. You need to work on your back shot." I said smugly before walking away. He stood there dumbfounded. I walked over to Stiles. He leant in close and whispered in my ear.
"Scott's just left we should go." His breath on my neck sent shivers down my spine. I was zoned out a little as he leant back to look at me with a smile. I shook myself out of it and smiled back, grabbing his clammy hand and rushing him to the car. I headed to Scott's house and simply walked in as Stiles had said his mother was out at work. We knocked on Scott's bedroom door but protectively, Stiles stood in front of me.
"Go away." Scott breathed out heavily from inside the locked room.
"Scott, It's me and Scar. Let us in, Scott." Stiles said as Scott opened the door slightly. "We can help," Stiles said pushing on the slightly open door.
"No! Listen, you gotta find Allison." He panted.
"She's fine, all right? I saw her get a ride from the party." I said reassuringly.
"She's--She's totally fine," Stiles added.
"No, I think I know who it is," Scott replied.
"You just let us in." Stiles protested impatiently. "We can try-"
"It's Derek. Derek Hale is the werewolf. He's the one that bit me. He's the one that killed the girl in the woods." Scott said cutting Stiles off.
"Scott... Derek's the one who drove Allison from the party." Stiles replied slowly before the door suddenly slammed shut and locked again.
"Scott!" Stiles shouted banging on the door. I pushed Stiles back slightly and kicked the door sending it open. Stiles looked at me impressed as a growl was heard from outside the window. We both ran over to see Scott on all fours running into the tree line. We both sighed knowing there wasn't anything we could do now. He couldn't be tamed.
We both ran to my car and headed to Allison's with the guidance of Stiles. We rushed over to the door fearing Allison was in danger. We rang the doorbell anxiously waiting for someone to answer. Impatiently, Stiles banged on the door to get their attention faster. The door swung open to a short-haired woman looked confused yet calm.
"Hi, Mrs Argent. Um... You have no idea who I am. I'm a friend of your daughter's." I said anxiously.
"Um... Look, this is going to sound crazy. Crazy actually." Stiles corrected himself rubbing the back of his neck. "You know what? Crazy doesn't-"
"Allison!" Her mother shouted up to her. "It's for you." She said as Allison could be seen on the stairs. Stiles and I looked completely shocked thinking Derek had hurt her but there she stood perfectly fine.
We made up some lie and quickly left. We pulled up outside of Stiles' house. He turned to me to protest.
"There's nothing we can do now," I said before he could say anything. He studied my face knowing I was right before taking off his seatbelt and smiling at me one last time before leaving and heading inside. I quickly drove to my house and got changed as fast as I ever had. I threw on some legging and a tank top before getting into my shoes and jacket not forgetting to grab my torch. I didn't want Stiles coming with me because it was extremely dangerous and stupid but I felt like I needed to help in some way.
I jumped to the tree across from my window and jumped down before running deep into the woods. I was searching around when all of a sudden a hand grasped my shoulder frightening me and as a reflex, I punch them in the face. He fell to the floor and I flashed my light on him to see it was a stranger with a crossbow. Two other guys approached me with their crossbows before one of them aimed theirs up as I stood with my hands in the air.
"It's just a girl." The guy said aiming away from me. I breathed heavily from the running and the shock. "Why are you in the woods late at night?" He asked suspiciously.
"I could ask you the same thing, except I'm out here on a jog and you're out here with weapons searching for something," I replied menacingly. He simply laughed knowing I had outsmarted him.
"We're just hunting for deer." He replied acting calm.
"Well, this is private land you can't hunt here," I replied smirking.
"Oh, I had no idea." He lied. "We'll just be on our way then. You better head home you don't know what could be out in these woods. Especially a night like tonight." He said intimidatingly but I saw this as more of a challenge than a threat.
