EPISODE 2 (709 WORDS)
"Keep it, Suzie might go for a walk in the woods," he joked making me smile.
"Thanks," I closed the car door and walked straight into the house, not bothering to wave goodbye. I walked over to the couch and instantly flopped down onto it so my face was in the cushions. My mum's footsteps soon started approaching. She sat on the arm of the couch and started playing with my hair, it always calms me down.
"Hard day at school?" She asked softly so I sighed.
"Boys are stupid," I said simply making her chuckle.
"You have your entire life to deal with them," she explained making me groan loudly. "You know most of the time when boys tease or mess with you it's because they like you," she tried but I moved to look at her confused.
"what?!" I questioned but she looked at me confused.
"What?" We simply looked at each other for a few seconds. "You do want to date boys don't you?" She asked and I couldn't believe it, I chuckled slightly in disbelief.
"Mum, yes. That's not my problem." I started, I sat up so I could watch her expression. "It's just Scott he's being an idiot. We were given a project and he's letting his emotions get in the way. He's not doing the project and when he is, he's distracted by Allison, his girlfriend, and he went to the teacher to try and get out of doing the project and all it's doing is pissing off the teacher and showing that he can't do it." It took a while for me to get it all out to the point where it sounded like an average high school experience but there is no way I am telling my mum about werewolves.
"Well, did you ever think of helping him?" She asked as she continued to play with my hair.
"I can't do his project for him," I sighed but my mum seemed to have a smile on her face.
"do you know my proudest moment of being your mother?" She started so I looked at her slightly confused.
"When I was in the musical?" I guessed but she shook her head. "When I got my first A?" She shook her head again.
"It was when you were so young I doubt you even remember it. It was your first day at school and someone didn't know how to tie their laces, you waddled over and took off your shoe and showed them how to do it. The teacher told me that you did it with them all morning and during your break, until they could do it just as good as you could." She explained making me smile, I don't remember that at all. She didn't stop smiling which only made me smile. I'm so lucky to have her. She noticed the smile on my face and knew she had helped me. The only way I can help Scott is by showing him how to control it and training him.
"I'm making your favourite for dinner," she added making my smile beam. She chuckled at how happy it made me.
"Oh, we've been invited to lunch at the sheriff's tomorrow," I added quickly so she looked at me confused. "It's stiles' dad. I was sat with him while we watched lacrosse and he invited us both over," I explained so she smiled brightly.
"sounds wonderful," she added making me excited that we could go.
"Okay, I'll let him know we can come and I'll come to pick you up after school since I already know where they live," I explained and she smiled as she led the way into the kitchen to continue cooking. "Oh and Noah, the sheriff, said he's going to let your red wine breath," I added making her chuckle.
"He needs to be careful, last time someone did that I got pregnant," she joked making me laugh since I said practically the same thing to Noah. I love my mum and I don't know what I'd do without her. We spent the rest of the night cooking, eating, messing about and watching a movie. I think my mum will always be my best friend.
