Elena PoV:
"Elena," I heard a voice whisper and felt a hand on my shoulder.
"You need to wake up, sorellina."
I groaned and tried to move away from the voice.
The hand didn't leave my shoulder though and kept on gently shaking me. I tried to swat the hand away but didn't succeed.
"C'mon Elena, we're going to be late if you don't get up now."
"Go without me," I mumbled into my pillow.
"Do you really want to be late on your first day of school? I wonder what impression that will leave." The voice I now recognize as Giovanni's says.
"School?" I asked confused, still half asleep.
"Yes, sorellina. School." Gio laughed.
"Why didn't you tell me before?" I asked him and shot out of my bed.
"We're leaving in an hour." He still laughed, leaving my room to give me my privacy.
I walked towards my closet and picked out a pair of pants, an adidas shirt and a jacket. Next I picked out some underwear and socks and went into my bathroom to take a shower.
I brushed my teeth, got dressed and put my hair into two french braids. I thought about how I want to do my hair a lot since yesterday night. I wanted to put it half up and half down, do a normal ponytail or a side braid but now here I am, doing two normal french braids because my brothers woke me up to late.
"Elena!" Cedro yelled from downstairs.
"Coming!" I yelled back and grabbed my luckily already packed school bag.
I left my room and walked downstairs into the kitchen with Dante and Emiliano following me, just like always.
I hope they know what Santino said. Or maybe more like, I hope Santino knows what he told me and didn't change his mind since then.
"We didn't know what you want for breakfast so Antonio made some scrambled eggs." Marcello told me while his twin kept on eating, not once acknowledging my presence.
Just like Ivano.
But it's Ivano. Wouldn't expect anything else from him of course.
"Good morning, sorellina. Ivano will drive you to school." Cedro said.
"Okay." I mumbled.
"Will you two drive with us?" I asked the twins.
"Yeah. But only today because it's your first day." Giovanni answered.
"Alright." I said and started eating.
I'll worry about what to do tomorrow later on. For now I should only worry about today and Santino's decision regarding my bodyguards.
It's going to be hard enough to be the new girl in school. Two men following me certainly wouldn't make it easier.
I hope Santino knows this.
