Driving here was a nightmare. I was a nervous wreck and my thoughts had control of me. I thought of all the "what if" thoughts. Some good and some bad.

I get here roughly half an hour later. I have to walk quickly because I was a bit late but I barely made it.

As soon as I push open the door my breath was taken from me. This place was stunning. It had beautiful floors, huge stairs and-

*DING DONG*

My heart fell out of my ass when I heard that. It was deafening. It took me a couple of seconds to realise it was a clock and when I looked at the time

8:00am

"Shit" I cussed under my breath as I didn't want to make a bad impression of myself after JUST walking in the door even though I'm already showing up late. I make my way with my portfolio and grades from Previous exams. I also took a couple extra bits I probably didn't need but I just wanted to make sure. I make my way up to the lady at the office. She looked like someone who wouldn't joke around, her glasses rested on the bridge of her nose, her brown hair was tied up only held by a pencil and was typing frantically on the computer.

She didn't notice me.

"Excuse me hi. Sorry I'm a bit late! My names Raelynn Smith here to see Miss C-"

"Raelynn Smith. Here to see Miss Clara-Jones?"

"Perfect."

I was in such a rush that I began to walk off when I heard

"And what room do you think your going to?"

Oh my God. What an idiot. I rushed back.

"Oh my Goodness I'm so sorry" I couldn't help but chuckle a bit. she did not seem amused. So my smile quickly fades.

"Room 55 in the left wing"

"Thank you so much"

It was only a 5 minute walk but it felt like 5 years. Time seemed to slow down the closer I got to the door. I could see the door but it was as if the hallway just grew longer.

I eventually make it and knocked on the door.

"Come in!" I hear a voice shout on the other side of the huge door.

This is it Raelynn. Don't mess this up. This is your future. You got this.

I didn't realise how sweaty my hands were until I touched the freezing cold door handle. I slowly pushed it open. I took a deep breath and walked in.

//This first part of the book was quite boring and the next chapter will be a lot of speech too. But after that it will get more interesting :) I'm having so much fun writing the book so far.
