I just found out that I get to see the stage before anything else. So I'm running around the office like a headless chicken tidying up before I go so Kirsty doesn't have to do it afterwards. I'm quite excited to see it actually. I also get to meet Kirsty's co-manager, Haley I think her name is.
At least I didn't have to start with Harry whining about the designs and I got a good start to my morning. On my way there I stop of at the little café near front office. I grab a cinnamon roll and coffee and walk fast towards the lifts. I check my phone to the message Kirsty sent me to see what floor it's on.
23rd
Jesus, how high up was this place?
I step into the lift and realise that there's 35 floors, quite high. I press the button with the number 23 on it and lean against the wall.
It felt like ages I was waiting to get to the 23rd floor but that was probably because I was excited. I couldn't wait to see the stage and how many people it could fit in. It probably wouldn't be huge because this boyband wasn't well known, they haven't even got a name.
Shit
They haven't got a name
That was something I needed to talk to them about. This show is in about 3 weeks. Let's hope they've got it in order.
Who am I kidding.
With Harry as a lead singer whose a hardcore drug addict and spends his days tormenting women, I don't think they'll be in order. I just needed to keep on top of that.
*DING*
I make my way out the door and realise how huge and empty the hallway is. The ceilings are so high up, higher than the ones downstairs. They're painted light grey on some walls and white on the other. They had numbers on the door so I check my phone again to see what one I'm going in.
17
I keep muttering to myself "17" because there was a lot of doors here, easy for young 19 year old me to get lost in.
I eventually find the door and open it.
The cold draft from the empty room hits me causing the front bits of my hair to blow back.
I was gobsmacked
I open my eyes wider and just stare at the stage This place was huge. Bigger than I ever expected.
I try and scan the place for Kirsty and Haley.
"Babe down here!" I hear Kirsty's voice echo. It took me a second to move because I was still admiring the stage. I make my way down the stairs carefully because knowing me, there was a high chance I'd fall if I were to run.
As I get closer and closer to the stage I can feel my eyes get wider with every step I took. This place was breathtaking. I can't believe I'm a part of something like this.
I was so lucky.
"So?" Kirsty asks me while looking at the stage herself.
"Kirsty, this place is amazing" I said while chuckling a bit because of nervousness and excitement. I was still trying to take in the size of the stage.
"Sorry I'm late Kirsty I got caught up talking to-" Haley says while rushing in with a pile of papers in her hand, a few flew off from her running in. She had long blonde hair, kind of like Kirsty's, that was in french braids, she had a mix between blue and green eyes, she wore glasses that rested on the bridge of her nose. She was stunning.
