Niall Horan

*before he ran into Haley, Harry and Raelynn.

I walk out the bathroom as I head back to mine and Harry's room. After that incident with the other boys we knew it wasn't a good idea that we all shared one room because let's be honest... someone in there was gonna fucking die in there if we all stayed together any longer.

The bathroom closest to me and Harry are the ones near the stage we'll be performing on. What was weird was that when I walked past it I kept hearing faint muffled voices. No one was allowed in our stage room unless it was members of the band, Haley, Kirsty or Raelynn.

As I walk by I decide to lean my ear up against the door. It was freezing cold due to it being so empty so I jump back in reflex. But I needed to find out what was being said so I just lay it gently against the edge of it.

It was weird. The voice in there didn't sound like any of the boys or Kirsty. It couldn't of been the electrical team as they're only now coming on the day.

But that's when it hit me. The deep muffled voice on the other side of the door was none other than

Halton's

I decide to push my ear further up against the door frame as I try to listen to what's being said.

"No mate I promise..... no you don't have to worry about that..... it's fine. They're all dealing with it...... after the show?....... okay and whose gonna do that...... okay........ Raelynn right?..... okay I'll make sure it's done."

It was obviously clear he wasn't up to any good. I obviously couldn't tell Liam, Zayn, Louis or Kirsty because I don't trust those dicks anymore. I knew Harry and Raelynn were talking about the note so that would've been a lot to process for the girl and as for Harry, it would've been draining for him to tell the girl.

The only other person I had left was... Haley.

Yesterday she pushed me out but she'd promised to speak to me today so let's see if she's true to her word. I run over to the lifts and frantically push the buttons just incase Halton comes out of the room.

*DING*

The lift doors open and I hop inside getting ready for the next stop so I could run out. The music they played in these lifts were so weird. But that wasn't the thing at the front of my mind right now.

*DING*

I try push the lift doors open on my way out as if it's going to speed the process up anymore. As soon as I'm greeted with the cool air of the ground floor of the uni I run frantically trying to find her.

I check the café. Not there. Raelynn's room? Not there. Main corridor? Not there

I feel like I'm running around in circles trying to find this girl but I can't see her. That was until I see her walking out of mine and Harry's room, and closely following behind her were Harry and Raelynn. Who didn't seem mad? They weren't yelling at each other? I'll have to ask Harry about that later

I run up to Haley

"Haley. Can I speak to you for a sec. I need to talk to you something. It's important."

She agrees and pulls Raelynn to the side to whisper about something leaving me and Harry stood there alone just staring at each other.

"Hey Ni I thought of an instrument you can play for the band."

"Oh yeah what's that?"

"The guitar."

I've always wanted to try that instrument out so it wouldn't hurt to give it a go.

"Okay sure. But you'll have to help me."

We both chuckle slightly. Before I could ask him about how things went with Raelynn, her and Haley come back so I drag Haley off to the side and down the hall.

"Okay. I just need to tell you what I heard. There's this person in our gang who's called Halton and I don't know how or why but he managed to get into our stage room." I whisper just incase anyone can still hear.

"But how-"

"I don't know. He was talking on the phone to god knows who about something to do with Raelynn and getting something done after the show."

It was like talking to a brick wall right now. She was just staring at me so blankly that I didn't know what to say.

"What are we going to do."

"I don't know Haley but listened to me. You cannot tell anyone I just told you that. Okay?"

She nods

"Pinky swear?" I say as I make her chuckle a bit

"What's so funny?" Her laugh makes me chuckle a bit. Her laugh was so sweet

"You just don't strike me as the type of guy to do pinky swears. But yes. I pinky swear." She says as she interlocks her little finger with mine.

"We'll both just have to keep a close eye on Halton."

"Who even is this Halton guy anyway Niall."

"A member of this gang. Oh and uh. Call me Ni." I say as I smile at her

"Okay Ni. What do we do till the show."

"Well you keep an eye on Raelynn. Like a good eye, look after her. I'll watch Harry and make sure he stays alright and that his heads in the game for the show. And we'll both report to each other if we need anything okay?"

"Got it." She says as she nods

"I've got something for you."

"For me?" She says as she furrows her eyebrows in confusion.

I take her by the hand and led her to mine and Harry's room. I unlock the door and take her to my chair in the back corner in which my favourite leather jacket rests on.

"Have it." I say as I hand the jacket to her

"Ni. What is it?"

"It's a jacket love."

"I know that. But like what for and why?"

"Well it's for you and it's because you're a pretty awesome person around here."

I could tell I made her blush slightly from how red her cheeks went as she moved a few pieces of hair out of her face.

"Look here. Try it on." I say as I spin her around and guide her arms into the holes of the jacket, untucking her hair as the jackets on.

"Let's see." I say as she turns around. It looked so big on her. I loved it.

"It's quite comfortable actually." She says while smiling and crossed her arms in the sleeves of the jacket as they were too long to show her hands.

The next thing I know is her arms are wrapped around my neck in embrace. At first I was shocked but I decided to take advantage of the moment and hug her tightly back around her waist.

"Thank you Ni. And I'll tell you if anything new comes up."

"O-okay. See you around Haley." Was all I could blurt out in that moment

She gives me one last look and smile before she walks out the door.

I just felt so confused right now after all this Halton, enigmatic, Haley, Harry, Raelynn, rest of the boys and Kirsty shit. I just needed to sleep.
