I woke up to the light shining through the curtains causing me to groan as I turn over to the other side so I could fall back asleep. That was when my eyes met the clock
10:30am
"Shit" I say as I get out of bed. I turn around and realise Harry's missing and all that was left was the indent in the side that he slept on.
I felt so bad for the poor guy last night. I woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of him screaming "stop" over and over again. It took me 3 or 4 times to say his name before he actually woke up. I was so scared as I didn't know what was happening. I tried to say his name a few times calmly as I brushed his hair out his face and wiped the sweat off his forehead but that didn't work so it meant I had to shake him awake.
I rub my eyes as I swing my legs over to the side of the bed and slip on a thin black dressing gown that Harry brought for me yesterday. It was so comfortable.
As I open the door I'm just greeted with the smell of pancakes and someone singing in the kitchen
Oh! Baby look what you done to me!
I couldn't help but laugh to myself as I walk round the corner to see Harry cooking pancakes on the hob while swaying side to side as he sung his heart out to the lyrics of a song I hadn't heard before. His back was facing me and his skin looked a golden brown colour from the already risen sun. It made his tattoos even more prominent as the black ink stood out.
"Well good morning to you." I say as I laugh to myself
"Ayyy! Good morning." He says as he comes up to me and kisses me on the forehead and looks me in the eyes. The sun from behind him made his eyes look darker than they normally did, more like a brown-green, either way they were still beautiful and I'd happily get lost in them if I could.
"Why didn't you get me up?" I ask out of curiosity.
"Because I put you through enough last night so you deserved the lay in."
"But I have work to do" I say while laughing and shaking my head as I go to peer over his shoulder
Chocolate chip pancakes.
"My favourite!" I say as I get excited
"Well it's a good thing it's ready isn't it." He says while chuckling.
That makes me laugh a bit too as I walk over to the table to sit down.
"Nice dressing gown. It looks good on you."
"Thanks Harry. It's really comfortable too."
Harry's still dancing around to the music. I had no idea what song it was but I liked it
"Baby look what you've done to me!"
He sings with his eyes pinched shut as he hands me the plate of pancakes that still had steam travelling off of them. They smelt so nice and I couldn't wait to tuck into them.
He walks over to the speaker to turn off the music as he plated up his breakfast too. He comes from behind me and sits down on the table next to me.
"Sorry if I scared you last night. I just have this dream often and lets just say it's not a nice one."
Bless him. He didn't have to tell me why. I knew he didn't do it on purpose.
"Harry it's okay really. If anything I felt bad for you. It looked like a horrible dream." I say as I take a mouthful of the pancakes he had made. I couldn't help but enjoy the sensation of the chocolate mixed with the syrup on my tastebuds.
