Lexi's POV
I was awoken by someone shaking me. "get up honey" my mom kissed my forehead. "your flight is in two hours" I smiled up at her and rolled out of bed and took a quick shower, slipping on my joggers and slipped on sammy's sweatshirt.
I rushed downstairs with my important suitcases. my mom would ship all the rest, since I was moving in for good. I saw the boys were already outside, waiting. my mom and I shared a kiss and a very long hug. I was leaving my best friend..
we got to the airport and after an hour, our plane got called. the window seat was an old guy, me, then nate. sammy was put like three rows in front of us.
"you and my homie dating for sure?" nate asked me after 15 minutes of sitting in awkward silence, which was weird because him and I did grow rather close.
"yeah, I guess" I smiled glancing over at sam to see him peacefully sleeping. "ya know, when I first saw you, I wanted you, but then sam started show feelings and I realized yall would be perfect together." he thought me and sam were per- wait. he wanted me?"wait, you wanted me?" I chuckled, mentally laughing at the imagine of a perfect omaha boy, with facial hair, a perfect body, and sexy tattoos with a girl with long brown hair, who's eyes were brown with a hint of green, who had no talents at all, not even being pretty.
"I mean I want you, but you being my homies girl and all.." he trailed off closing his eyes so we won't go farther into conversation.
so he wants me.. not wanted me.
we landed and I can't wait to go cuddle in MY bed, which I realized was way more comfortable than the one in Arizona. we pulled up to the driveway and gilinsky ran out, "so did sammy tell her how he fe-" he cut himself off when he realized I was standing in front of him with my hand intertwined in sam's.
"well what are you waiting on yung wilk, let's celebrate" Johnson said holding up a bag of weed, coming from out of nowhere. Sam's eyes lit up as Jack, Gilinsky, and Sam ran inside. "I guess I'll help you" nate laughed.
I never smoked weed, rolled a joint, or blew out of a hookah, and I don't think I ever will, yes it kind of bothers me that Sam does, but that's Sam. I'm not going to try and change Sam. Glad nate's here so he can help bring all this to my room.
I thank him as he brought the last bags up as he rushes to go smoke too.it's now night time when I finished unpacking and settling into MY room. I knew they decided to throw a party, because two hours ago music was blasted and I heard many conversations, and the house smelt of weed and alcohol.
I walked out to see if any of the boys were in their rooms. Johnson wasn't, which I knew the moment I walked out and looking over the railing. he had a bottle of liquor dancing on top of the table along with a few other girls. I went to G's room only to see strangers kissing on his bed. I then went to Nate's, nothing but what looked like a sleepy Nate, who was snuggled up to his pillow. At least he knew when to stop partying. I went to Sam's room hoping he'd been there since he wasn't on the dance floor.
oh Sam was there, just with another girl. all I could do was stand there and watch as he yanked on her hair and she kissed him so sloppily, their tongues fighting viciously, then trailing to her neck, leaving hickeys. they stopped kissing, as he pulled off her shirt, sending it flying across the room. before he kissed her, I guess that's when he noticed someone in his peripheral vision.
my eyes stung, tears threatened to fall out. wasn't he the one who just drove to Arizona to get me? wasn't he the one who physically fought my ex boyfriend? wasn't he the one who convinced me to come back to LA to live with him because he wanted me.. needed me?
he shot up from the bed. "no, lex" he reached out to touch my cheek, but I pushed him. "GET AWAY FROM ME" I yelled. I couldn't help it, my voice cracked, as tears poured. I felt someone's arm wrap around me, I turned around, seeing the little blonde-hair blue-eyed Johnson. "leave her alone sam. I'm drunk and I even know that's fucked up." he slurred his words. he leaned over the railing, "PARTYS OVER, EVERYONE OUT" and everyone flooded through the doors.
"Lexi, I don't even know her I swear that meant--" but I cut Sam off. "and that's suppose to make me feel good? you don't even know who she was, but you were gladly about to screw her. are you sorry for kissing her? or sorry I found out?" I hissed. before he could say anything, I ran downstairs.
I realized I had no one to go to besides the guy I grew close to, Nate. I opened the door and saw him in the same sleeping position. "Nate" my voice cracked.
Nate's POV
"lex, what are you doing?" i asked, rubbing my eyes to make sure it was her. "it's more like I'm sad and I don't want to talk about it just yet" she whispered as tears fell down her cheek. "come here" I said scooting to the side and patting the bed.
she crawled into the spot, putting her head in the crook of my neck as I put my arm around her neck as I played with her hair, my other hand around her waist. she placed her arm on my bicep, and that's when I realized I was still shirtless. oops. she was crying, I wish I could ease her pain and take it all away.
"Nate." she looked up at me. "hmm?" I asked. "Sam cheated." she cried. I knew my face was red as it grew with anger. I clenched my jaw. "I'm here now" I kissed her forehead. "you're okay"
