Sam's POV

i caught her staring at my lips.
"why you staring at my lips? you wanna kiss me" I raised an eyebrow, laughing. "wait, huh-- oh, no. I zoned out." she laughed. but i didn't laugh. I wanted to kiss her but does she wanna kiss me? hesitantly, I grew close to her face. I opened my eyes, her eyes were closed, lips puckered, waiting for me to kiss her.

"so you do wanna kiss me?" i laughed so hard. I can tell she was embarrassed, "haha. very funny. did I ever tell you how much I hate you" I just laughed. She seemed mad, she was getting up but I pulled her closer. "I'm just playing." i said. "I know. I was just gonna pick out my outfit." I know she's lying though. I looked into her eyes and grabbed her cheek. I took a risk and kissed her. and she kissed me back. she kissed me back. I have much more confidence and I'm determined to get her even more now.

I was hungry for her affection. I gripped her waist and tossed her on the bed. biting her bottom lip asking for entrance, she didn't let me in. I grabbed her butt and she grasped, sending her mouth open. good.

I was about to climb onto her but we heard "yo have you seen s--" I looked back and saw G. "I'll go" he said pointing towards the door laughing. I looked down at her and bit my lip to look seductive. I think I failed. "guess I'll go too" she nodded. I went into my room and got ready for the day.

I tossed on a rvca shirt and khaki pants. then I heard a knock at my and opened it. lex. "so he does know what a shirt is" I shrugged and we both laughed. "do you want to do something today? I don't wanna be bored all day." I nodded. "of course" I grabbed my jacket.

we started walking down the stairs, as soon as we were bout to go down the last flight I jumped on her back. "SAM" she yelled as we both fell. I was laughing. "alright. let's go" she said grabbing my shoulders, then wrapping her legs around my waist. and I ran down the stairs causing her to laugh. we were about to walk at the door but I turned around and waved bye at the boys. Jack and Jack waved, nate just shrugged me off, looking pissed. did I do something to him?

Lexi's POV

"so where to?" he asked as we hopped in his jeep. "I was thinking the mall" I smiled and he just shook his head, "I should've known" he said backing out the driveway. all I did was chuckle.
we went to different stores. I found me a cute outfit and maroon vans which I fell in love with.

we were now just walking around. I saw some girls from the party who gave me dirty looks. I felt insecure until I felt someone's gaze on me. Sam laced our fingers together. "come on. let's go." he smiled and I nodded following him back to the car. his phone dinged.

"it's nate. he just finished writing down the rhymes so we need to practice, but he usually calls me. he's-- today he ignored me, I know yall are somewhat close. did he say anything that I could've done to piss him off?" he asked still staring at his phone. "jealousy, I guess cause we're hanging out but I'm sure he'll get over it soon." and he nodded. we drove off going back home.

Sam's POV

I got home and ran to the basement where we had set up our studio. "hey man." I said as soon as I saw nate. "sup" he said looking in the booth, not once looking at me.

"aye man. what's up with you?" i became curious. "what you mean?" he said looking up. "well I mean. you kinda been ignoring me." he shrugged, "no biggie"

"yeah it is. I asked lex and she said she thinks your jealous. why? I didnt mean for us to grow apart over the summer" I mean he tells me all his crushes or whatever so I assumed he meant our friendship. "nah man. not jealous of her but you." I gave him a confused look but he just stood up and walked out. I never knew he he liked her.

Nate's POV

as soon as I walked out that studio I regretted what I said. I shouldn't have told him. I shouldn't have ignored him. he's my bestfriend. I'm not gon' let a girl come between us. as I walk into the living room someone runs into me. "sorry" lexi laughed. "it's cool" I smiled. "why you been ignoring sam?" she asked. my smile wiped away, "uh lex. I think you know the answer."

"we just went to the mall and came back here. that's it." she said. "I know. but before that. G told me yall were practically swallowing each others tongues so." I walked past her, but she still ran to were she was in front of me. "I know we kissed but seriously? he's your best friend, him and I aren't even dating, it was just a kiss." she shrugged like it was nothing.
