nightwalkers know me better than anybody out in the real world
their nocturnal nature allows them to live amongst the dark
to see through the pitch blackness, and in their stead, i have, too
adapting to isolation is hard, but to these guys, it ain't nothing new
i follow their herd, though they know there's something off about my barks
i attempt to replicate their voices, but my tongue remains curled
(they find me out faster than i thought they would)
