i know it might be crazy
but did you hear the story?
i think i heard it vaguely
a girl and a zombie
his skin peeled like a banana
he tried to touch her
his breathe radiated the
energy of a nuclear power plant
his teeth were as yellow
as the lines on the street
but she still took his hand
in hers, that rotten hand
and she saw not a monster
but a boy, unloved, uncared for
she would not let go
maybe he wanted her to, but she didn't
too bad, either way
nobody has a good ending around here
