obviously your head thinks at a million miles per hour
victory in your eyes usually comes down to knowing it all
eventually, though, you meet your match, but you
doubted she would get married after a few years
really? you became their kids' godfather, for christ's sake
elements of romance trickled off into the damp river
it wasn't meant to be, you told yourself, but
damned were you if it didn't ache every day, anyways
