maybe i should read to her.
she might like that better.
she said she has issues reading.
that the words come off the page.
do little squiggles in the air.
execute gymnastics and ballerina moves.
she hates it. despises it.
her lip curls up whenever she says "books suck."
it's kinda cute.
but she's mean to me. so it isn't.

maybe reading to her would be better.
she wouldn't have to sit and deal
with being bored all the time.
all she does is sit.
really likes the beanbag.
it's her favorite.
she drags it around with her.
annoys me a whole bunch.

i might. it sounds like a good idea.
i mean, if i'm going to be
talking about anything,
it's going to be about my books.
there isn't anything else
running through my mind.
and if she has anything
significant to say, she can,
there's nothing stopping her.
but no. she just likes to sit.
i used to think that being alone
sucked, but this sucks, too.
okay, she's doing it again right now.
that's it. i'm reading to her.
