So she talked..

And I listened.

She told me about her hearing music on the way to the double date but assuming it Lucy even though Lucy wouldn't listen to that type of music.

Though she didn't specify any type of music.

She told me about her hearing the same music in the restaurant but then Lucy mentioned Frank Sinatra.

But Lucy was right next to her.

She seemed really distressed.

I feel bad for her.

She really loves Lucy.

She's so worried that Lucy isn't her Soulmate, it's draining her.

"so you're freaked out because Lucy isn't your Soulmate?" I wondered.

She lifted her head and practically glared at me.

"I don't know" she frowned.

"well that music you've been hearing, maybe Lucy does listen to it, y'know that girl is full of surprises. And sometimes restaurants mess up with their music" I reassured her. "you two are made for each other, you have nothing to worry about, y/n"

"you think?" she wondered, still looking worried.

"you know Lucy. You've known Lucy for years, you're made for each other" I smiled, grabbing her hand. "she is your Soulmate"

"thank you. I appreciate this" she nodded.

"I need to go back to work, will you be okay?" I wondered.

"yeah, of course. I'll be okay" she chuckled lightly. "you get back to kicking some criminal ass"

"okay, well text me if you need me. Okay?" I stated.

"I will, thank you again" she smiled.

"you're so welcome, anytime" I stood up from my chair and exited the coffee shop, making my way across the street once more to the BAU.

I rushed back up to the third floor to see everyone sat exactly how they were as I left, apart from Spencer who seemed to have run off somewhere.

"JJ!" Garcia exclaimed as I made my way over to them.

"are you okay?" Emily asked.

"where did you run off to?" Derek wondered.

"oh my friend just messaged me asking to meet her for coffee. She's freaking out because she's having doubts about her relationship, she's been hearing songs her Soulmate wouldn't usually listen to so she's panicking, I think she thinks her girlfriend isn't her Soulmate but theres no way. They're 100% made for each other" I explained.

"but if she's been hearing other songs, aren't they not Soulmates?" Derek wondered.

"it was only two times, and they're easily explainable coincidences. You should see these two. They're Soulmates" I chuckled.

"what songs have she been hearing?" Emily wondered.

"she didn't tell me" I stated.

"why don't you ask her?" Derek. "then you could bring it up with her girlfriend and find out if there's anything worth worrying about"

"I could but I doubt she'd tell me" I shrugged, whipping my phone out.

Me: just wondering but what type of songs have you been hearing?

I noticed she had read the message but didn't reply for a couple of minutes.

Y/N: classical music like mozart stuff, I guess

I stared at the message for a moment.

"Emily come with me" I grabbed the brunettes hand and practically dragged her into an empty office, slamming the door.

"woah what is it?" Emily furrowed her eyebrows turning to me.

"she said classical music. She's been hearing classical music" I panted.

"so? You just said it's a coincidence" she shrugged.

"but what if its not" I stared at her.

"even if it's not, who the hell listens to classical music" Emily chuckled.

"yeah. who?" I turned to look at the door before turning back to Emily.

I waited for a couple of moments before the realisation sunk in and her eyes widened.

"no fucking way" she breathed. "you think it's Spencer?"

"I mean it could well be a coincidence that she heard classical music in her car and in a restaurant but like I said. What if its not a coincidence? What if she has been hearing her Soulmates song? Did Spencer said that he spent last night listening to Mozart?" I explained.

"oh my god" Emily took a step back. "you think this girl and Spencer might be Soulmates?"

"maybe" I shrugged.

"do think we should tell Spencer?" she wondered.

"he probably doesn't even know about the Soulmate thing, I don't want to worry him" I shook my head.

"are you gonna tell her?" she asked gently.

"same thing. Also, again, it could be a coincidence. Her and her girlfriend could very well be Soulmates" I mumbled.

"I can't believe we might have found Spencer's soul mate" Emily chuckled lightly, almost in disbelief.

"I know. I hope not though, these girls love each other. They're meant to be together, they believe so much that they're Soulmates, it'll be heartbreaking if that's not true" I sighed. "what do you think?"

"what?" Emily wondered.

"after hearing this all. Do you think it's a coincidence or do you think we've found Spencer's Soulmate?" I wondered.

"I don't know. You know the girls better than me. I'd like to think it's the latter though. I know these girls love each other but to see Spencer happy? In love? We might know the person he's supposed to be with.. That's amazing" she smiled gently.

"but these girls... for their sake, I'm gonna put the whole Spencer idea out of my mind and believe that it's a coincidence. Until something else happens that can't be explained as a coincident, I believe that those two girls are Soulmates" I nodded.

Emily nodded in return.

"can I tell you something? Before we leave, you can't tell anyone" I sighed.

"what is it?" Emily wondered.

"you know Lucy?" I asked.

"yeah, she works as an Agent and shes great, what about her?" Emily furrowed her eyebrows.

"it's her girlfriend" I stated.

Emily's jaw visibly dropped.

"its her girlfriend? Lucy? Her girlfriend might be Spencer's Soulmate?!" Emily whisper-yelled.

"yep" I nodded.

"oh my god this is insane" Emily ran her hand through her hair. "wait. What type of music does her girlfriend like?"

"she likes old stuff like the beatles and David Bowie, why?" I furrowed my eyebrows, wondering what she was getting at.

"the party Spencer heard the other night. What if it wasn't a party?" she suggested.

We stared at each other for a moment and as if in unison, we sprinted out of the room back to the gang.
