"hey hot stuff" Garcia grinned as I sat down by her side.

I noticed Spencer furrow his eyebrows my way, probably at the realisation that I was wearing the same clothes as the previous day.

"how you doing?" JJ smirked, elbowing Emily in the side to catch her attention.

"wow" Emily's eyes widened.

"what? What's wrong?" I furrowed my eyebrows.

"I'm pretty sure they're referring to your neck" Spencer stated.

"what? ohhhhh" I placed a hand over the side of my neck. "that.. was Lucy"

"well Lucy's a damn wild girl" Derek smirked.

"i thought you fell out last night" Spencer murmured.

"oh yeah we did" I nodded.

"what? Why?" JJ wondered.

"I went over Spencers last night so we could have that book discussion and she thought I had.. she's very protective and she thought that something had happened between us" I explained. "she thought I had been unfaithful and when I accused her of not trusting me, she kissed me like she usually does to end arguments and I can't help it, I just melt"

They all stared at me.

"what? why do you look all sad?" I wondered.

"that's... really bad, y/n" Garcia took hold of my hand.

"what?" I turned to her. "no no no, you weren't there. She loves me, we're soulmates. You guys don't know our relationship"

"are you su-"

"yes I'm sure. Now I'm starving, where the menu?" I chuckled lightly, taking the paper off of Derek who passed it my way.

"so how was your little book night?" Emily asked.

"it was really nice, she had a lot of insightful and interesting comments and thoughts, some I hadn't even thought of and I gave her another book so we can do it again" Spencer explained.

"I know you'd fit right in with the group, y/n" JJ grinned. "so Spencer, any update on that soulmate yet?"

"well uh.. um considering I haven't met anyone since you last asked me.. no" he stated.

"what was that in your voice?" Derek wondered, a small smirk on his face.

"what?" Spencer furrowed his eyebrows.

"we're gonna have a talk later, pretty boy" Derek grinned.

"what's going on?" I chuckled lightly.

"I have no idea" Emily shrugged.

I was very curious of what they were talking about.

It sounds like to me that Spencer knows who is soulmate is.

"it sounds like Spencer here, knows who his soul mate is" I raised an eyebrow.

"Spencer!" Garcia squealed.

"you know who it is?" JJ breathed.

"I.. no... I don't know who my soulmate is" he shook his head. "anyone down for coffee?"

"alright, alright. Go and change the subject" Emily snickered.

We ordered our breakfast and our drinks as the conversation continued, luckily no one bringing up Lucy or our relationship.

"hey, I have an idea" Spencer caught my attention as he began driving me home.

"spill your mind, doctor" I chuckled. "what's your idea?"

"how about.. I give you a time limit?" he suggested.

"go on.." I furrowed my eyebrows.

"you don't have work tomorrow, do you?" he wondered.

"no, i have two weeks off for Halloween" I stated.

"so how about... 1pm tomorrow, I pick you up and we discuss the book?" he turned to me.

"that's like less than a day" I pointed out.

"exactly, and you have that time to finish the book" he grinned.

"you... you are a mad man" I giggled.

"have we got a deal?" he raised an eyebrow.

"deal" I crinkled my nose at him before sitting back in my seat. "1pm tomorrow it is"

Lucy: hey, you wanna go out tonight? Xxx

Me: i can't, sorry baby. maybe tomorrow night xx

Lucy: why not? Xx

Me: I promised Spencer I'd finish this book by tomorrow

Lucy: and that's more important than seeing me?

Me: of course not.
Me: considering last night you accused me of cheating on you, I think I'm obliged to have a little time to myself.

Lucy: but it's not time to yourself, it's time with him.

Me: no cause today, I'm gonna be with myself.. Reading.
Me: which is something I enjoy and relaxes me

Lucy: but then you're gonna be with him

Me: he's my friend, Lucy. Do you expect me to not spend time with my friends?
Me: also he was your friend way before he was mine

Lucy: it's fine, I have other plans anyway.

Me: can we still go out tomorrow night?

No reply.

Me: I love you

No reply.

Me: I'm sorry

Lucy: its okay, I forgive you. I'll text you later about tomorrow night.

I smiled to myself before placing my phone down, before I knew it, we were parked outside of my apartment building.

"thanks for the ride" I turned to him.

"don't worry about it. I'll see you tomorrow? 1pm on the dot?" he smiled softly.

"see you then, doctor" I nodded before jumping out of the car. I turned to wave at him for a moment before making my way into my apartment.

"time to get reading" I murmured to myself as I entered my apartment.

Locking the door behind me, I took a look back at the book in my hands.

I made myself a cup of coffee before, like a couple day previous, comfortably placed myself on my couch and began reading the book, making notes on each page.

I was already familiar with the story so I had a lot more enjoyment and understanding of this book.

And by god, did I enjoy it.

I read from 3pm to 1am, when I eventually finished the book.

Like the previous, I would've finished it earlier but I had to have a food break, plus Spencer checked in on my progress at one point.

Honestly, I enjoyed the book a lot more than the movie and I really fucking enjoyed the movie.

The pages were flooded with notes but that didn't bother me with Spencers reading ability and I knew it wouldn't bother him either.

Me: just finished. see you at 1pm tomorrow, doctor :)

Spence: I'm impressed. You finished a longer book in a day less than before. See you tomorrow, genius

I was surprised that he was still awake but nonetheless I chuckled at his nickname.
