I walked a short while before finally reaching Lucy's apartment building, I let myself inside and made my way all the way up to her apartment.

I took a deep breath before knocking on the door.

The door opened almost instantly.

"y/n" she grinned. "I didn't expect you here so soon"

"Spencer lives a couple blocks away" I nodded.

"and nothing happened?" she wondered.

I chuckled lightly to myself.

"do you really not trust me? do you really think I'd cheat on you?" I spat.

"I'm just curious.. He's.. a guy and you're attracted to guys" she stated.

"so? Just because I like guys doesn't mean I'm gonna fuck every guy who moves and Spencer is my friend, I've only known him for what? less than two weeks and I have you! I have a girlfriend, I'm not gonna fucking cheat on you because that's the worst thing you can do to a person and I'm in love with you!" I exclaimed.

" did he make a move?" she asked.

"no! You know why? because I'm his friend and we just discussed books and he's probably never even kissed a girl and he's knows I'm with you so no! he didn't make a move, he didn't make any sort of move" I spat.

"did you want him to?" she raised one eyebrow.

"you are unbelievable" I scoffed. "no I didn't want him to. You know why? because I'm in love with you, and I trust you but you obviously don't trust me"

"you're really gonna leave? you're really gonna leave me here to cry? I do everything for you and you're just gonna leave my apartment when I've asked you to be here?" she asked, crossing her arms.

"you asked me to come here.. and I did.. and then you accused me of cheating because you obviously don't trust me" I stated.

"are you breaking up with me?" she wondered.

"what? no! no, of course not. I love you. you're my world, you're my girl. we're soul mates, I'm not gonna leave you" I frowned.

"we're soul mates? We've never discussed soulmates before" her voice became quieter.

"because it's so obvious that we're soulmates" I chuckled lightly. "we don't need to discuss it when we know"

She stared at me.

wait..

"you.. you don't think we're soulmates" I realised. "oh my god you don't think we're soulmates"

"what? What are you talking about? Don't be so stupid, of course we are" she chuckled lightly. "of course we're soulmates! Now come on in, I've missed you"

I was hesitant but entered her apartment anyway.

I closed the door behind me and turned to feel her lips press against mine.

I felt myself melt into her touch as she gently untucked my shirt from my trousers, deepening the kiss.

She kept hold of my shirt dragging me back into her bedroom.

10 minutes ago this is exactly what I didn't want to do but the moment her lips touched mine, it was like I was under some sort of spell.

Her touch is like magic.

Her lips are like poison.

Her body is like a drug.

No matter how much we're arguing or how angry I am at her, she can just kiss me and it all goes away.

It was her main strategy whenever we were arguing.

And it worked every time.

I woke up the next morning, entangled in the arms of the woman I called my soulmate.

The woman that is my soulmate.

And my heart filled with joy.

With the smile on my face, I grabbed my phone from the bedside cabinet and noticed a text I had from an unknown number.

Unknown: hey, it's Emily! No case today, the gang is meeting to breakfast. Wanna join? Xx

me: yeah, I'd love that. Lucy is next to me, I'll let her know xx

Emily: doesn't she have work today? Xx

Me: oh yeah, never mind xx

Emily: we're meeting at the same coffee shop opposite the BAU in roughly an hour, see you then? xx

me: see you then, beaut xx

"so what did you and Spencer talk about last night?" I looked to my side to see Lucy awake.

Not this again.

"mostly the book he lent me, the BAU, Halloween, the new book he lent me" I nodded.

"cool" she shrugged, sitting up in her bed.

"I gotta go pretty soon but do you mind if I borrow a jumper?" I wondered.

"yeah, sure" she smiled before getting up out of bed and exiting the room.

I got up shortly after her and made my way across the room, opening up her closet and picking out an oversized jumper.

I slid it over my body along with the clothes I had worn the previous day before pulling my hair out of the low ponytail, brushing through it gently and leaving it natural.

I returning to the bed, grabbing my phone and my books before exiting the bedroom.

"I gotta go but I'll text you later, okay?" I smiled my girls way.

"okay, baby. See you soon" she grinned.

"bye, babe" I sent her a wave before leaving the apartment.

I let out a huge breath as soon as I left the room, almost like I had been holding it in since last night.

I exited the apartment, as quick as I could and hopped into a taxi's directing myself to the BAU.

also I was sort of uh... aching after last night.

ANYWAY.

after a rather short taxi ride, I reached the BAU and exited the vehicle, after paying the driver of course.

I waited upon the heavy traffic before crossing the road and entering the coffee shop I had been in a couple of days ago.

I looked around before noticing Emily, Spencer, Garcia, Derek and JJ sat around a table in the far corner.

I smiled to myself at the refreshing sight of the group before making my way over.

"there she is!" Derek grinned as I sat down in the seat in between Garcia and Reid.
