A/N: just letting you know ahead of time, I wrote this really late at night and apparently confused the capabilities of a one year old with that of a two year old.

Peggy went over to Maria's house to watch after little Susie for the evening. Susie was starting to talk, but she was at that age where all kids say is jibberish. So you can imagine how fun that's been.

"What does she enjoy watching right now?" Peggy asked.

"Well... James was watching the price is right a few weeks ago, and forgot to change the channel when Dr. Phil came on. She for some reason is now obsessed with it." Maria laughed.

"Actually?" Peggy said in surprise.

"See for yourself." Maria pointed over to the living room.

"Send them chirren to the ranch!" Little Susie yelled. Peggy almost fell over laughing.

"Ok, I'll see what I can do." Peggy replied, still laughing.

"Thank you again, you're a life saver." Maria smiled. "Are you sure you don't want me to pay you? Because I'm sure I could at least..."

"There's no need. That would be like you paying me to have fun. Because we are going to have fun, aren't we Susie?" Peggy turned her gaze to the little girl.

"I dunno." Susie answered. "I've never done this before."

Peggy tried to understand what the infant was saying, but it was very hard. Eventually, Maria translated it for her.

"Well when you were very little, I used to help take care of you sometimes." Peggy reminded her.

"Then this will be fun?"

"Yes, we will have lot's of fun." Peggy smiled.

"Again, you are a life saver." Maria stated. "Me and James haven't gone out since.... well..." She gestured her head to Susie. "Well let's say we had a little too much fun."

"Haha! No problem, and I refuse to let you pay me. This is just a favor, not a job." Peggy made clear.

"Fine, but can I at least pay for dinner for you and Stephen?" Maria asked.

"Actually, Stephen is not coming. I invited Laurens instead. If that's alright of course." Peggy realized she hadn't even asked Maria when she invited him.

"Oh, ok. I don't care, whatever makes it easiest. Have fun!" Maria waved goodbye to her friend. "Bye baby."

"Bye Mommy." The little girl said without taking her eyes off the TV.

"Hey Susie. You wanna play a game?" Peggy asked.

"No, not really." She replied.

"What about a princess game? I used to love those when I was your age." Peggy suggested.

"Can we play Doctor?"

"Yeah sure."

Susan jumped up and ran into the other room. Just as she did, Peggy heard a knock at the door. She immediatly knew who it was and went to answer.

"Hey stranger." She joked.

"Is this the Reynolds residents? Because I don't believe I see a Reynolds." Laurens smirked.

"Come on you dork." She laughed and pulled him inside. "Susie! The pateint just arrived!"

"I'm sorry, the what?"

Susie came back in with a toddler's doctor costume on. "Good."

"Uh Peg? What's going on?" Laurens asked confused.
