A/N: Again, I am leaving the Finale chapter as a cute 'thing' I guess, but this will be like... in canon? IDEK anymore.

Valentine's day was just around the corner, and Burr gave everyone the Valentine of a viral video of Alexander falling into twenty cups of water and covered with confetti. Alexander had spent the whole week cleaning up water and sticky confetti, along with taking all of his possessions down from the ceiling.

"Alex, just let it go! No one is going to remember this a week from now." Eliza sighed. "And responding with a prank is what got you into this mess in the first place."

"He is ruining my life." Alexander mumbled with his face buried into his bed.

"Honey. I love you, but you can be really dramatic." Eliza smiled.

"I love you and I want to make this day special, but my rage is making that a problem." Alexander mumbled again.

"I married a five year old." Eliza rolled her eyes. "Cry yourself a river, build yourself a bridge, and get over it! I want to go to a nice dinner."

"Fine." Alexander stood up. He followed Eliza outside of his dorm. Valentine's day landed on a Saturday, so they could be out all night.

"I'm meeting up with my sisters to get ready for dinner at my father's house. It will be me, you, Ange, Peggy, John, and Laurens. Remember not to sulk all night and to wear something nice." Eliza kissed his cheek. "And don't be late!"

Alexander nodded and went back inside. He still had a few hours until the dinner, and he had already bought Eliza a gift and made one of his signature homemade cards.

On one hand, he didn't want to sulk. On the other, he did.

"I need a shower."

Laurens and Peggy were having their own version of Valentine's day. A visit the Schuyler Manor's grand kitchen.

"One cheese puff? Or two?" Peggy asked.

"Just the one. I'm a little nervous that ice cream and cheese puffs isn't as good as it sounds." Laurens stated. Peggy handed him one and he dipped it in the ice cream and took a bite. "That's actually pretty good."

"I'm going two." Peggy said as she dipped two in and ate them both at the same time. "Mmm, yum."

Philip walked down the hallway and saw them. He did a double take before entering the room.

"Peggy, what are you doing?" He asked.

"We're just trying some new foods. Or at least making new foods out of existent ones." Peggy explained.

"Ice cream and Cheetos puffs. My daughter and future son in law, everyone." Philip joked.

"You want one, daddy?" Peggy asked.

"Hard pass." Philip smiled before turning for the door. "And don't touch my sherbet!"

"Ok." Peggy laughed.

"Not a culinary inventor?" Laurens asked.

"Is that what we are? I like it." Peggy smiled. "We're gonna have to coin that. Unless it's already a thing."

Laurens laughed. "What would ice cream and French fries taste like?"

"Sounds like happiness to me." Peggy smirked.

"Lets do it."

After awhile, the time of the dinner came.

"You look nice, sweetheart." Eliza said as Alexander walked up to her car. "You wanna drive?"

"Like you'd let me drive your expensive car." Alexander laughed.

"At least I offered," Eliza replied. "And I will someday." She leaned in for a kiss but pulled out right before Alexander could meet her. "When you drive safer."

"I get the feeling you won't let me drive my own children." Alexander teased.

"Our children. They're only yours when they're in trouble." Eliza joked.

Alexander rolled his eyes before getting into the car.

When they arrived, they found out that everyone else was there except for Angelica and John.

"You want your gift now, or later tonight?" Peggy asked Laurens.

"I don't mind. Whenever you want to." Laurens replied.

"Ok, I say we wait for a little while. Get some alone time." Peggy smirked making Laurens blush.

After a bit of time, Angelica and John finally arrived. Everyone took one look at them and could tell they were completely exhausted.

"Wow, when was the last time you slept?" Eliza asked.

"Define sleep." Angelica grumbled.

"When was the last time you rested to the point of unconsciousness?" Alexander asked.

"Not since Ricky was born." John answered for her. "He's the greatest thing in the world, but they don't sugarcoat the fact they he keeps you up all night."

"I hope you guys can make it through the night, although if you need to go home early, we understand." Philip stated.

"It's ok, Daddy." Angelica gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Thank you for this wonderful dinner."

"Ange, you haven't even eaten it yet." Peggy laughed.

"Right," Angelica yawned. "Right."

They all went to the formal dining hall when dinner was ready to be served. The server started out with drinks.

"I'll take my aged Red Cabernet Sauvignon." Philip began. (Not me googling 'fancy wine names' for that.) "Angelica, would you or John like any wine?"

"You sure that's a good idea?" Alexander laughed, earning a shove from Eliza.

"I can't while I'm breastfeeding Ricky. I'll just take some water." Angelica yawned again.

"Got any red bull?" John asked.

"I know this sounds really mean," Laurens whispered to Peggy. "But I kinda want one of them to pass out in their soup." Peggy rolled her eyes and giggled slightly.

The rest of them gave their drink orders and waited for them to come back. When they did, they also received their soup and Laurens started watching the Church's like a hawk. Sadly, neither of them passed out... Sadly for Laurens at least.

"So, how are thing between you and Laurens, Peggy." Philip asked. "Any... future plans come up?"

"We didn't elope if that's what you mean." Peggy laughed.

"What's wrong with that, sister?" Eliza joked.

"You know what I mean." Peggy smiled.

"We both agreed to give it some time and enjoy it. We don't want to rush a wedding or go too quickly." Laurens explained.

"Yeah, that's what happened right before the Stephen incident." Peggy stated awkwardly.

"And then there's that." Laurens laughed.

"Well, as long as you too are happy." Philip smiled. "I've never seen someone make my daughter happy like you do."

"And I hope I always will." Laurens wrapped his arms around Peggy.

"Awe." Alexander teased.

Right before dinner began, Angelica finally couldn't take it anymore and passed out on the table. It wasn't into any food like Laurens would've liked, but it was still better then nothing.
