Work had gone by fairly quickly for Ahsoka that day.

She honestly felt a little nervous about the whole, "Going out with Nyx thing". The temple nor the jedi lifestyle had never taught her how to deal with such issues. No one really had ever taught her how to. Of course Anakin and the clones had taught her how to defend herself against "teenage stupid boys" As they would call them.

Ahsoka remembered laughing when the subject had first come up. Aside from the fact that the clones looked like men, they were basically the same age as her mentally. So Ahsoka had found it a bit odd for the clones to shame kids that they were the same as and acted like. But nevertheless she learned as they had instructed.

Nyx tapped on her machine she had been working on.

"Hello?" He grinned. "Anyone home?"

Ahsoka rolled her eyes playfully and faced him with a grin.

"Yep all here, just got- lost in my head for a second." She said with a soft smile.

Nyx nodded and swung his bag over his shoulder.

"Ready to go?" He asked with a bright and goofy smile.

Ahsoka chuckled.

"Is our shift already over?" She asked.

"Yep!" He said. "Time passes when you are having fun."

Ahsoka rolled her eyes.

"Well you and I have two different ideas for fun." She crossed her arms and smirked.

"Oh?" Nyx asked raising an eyebrow.

Ahsoka punched his shoulder.

"Not like that creep." She said in an annoyed tone.

Nyx laughed.

"Ok let's go." He said as he motioned to the door. "Ladies first."

Ahsoka crossed her arms.

"Hmm I'm not a lady but I will go first." She said as she walked through the door and left Nyx speechless.

Nyx closed his widened mouth and ran up to catch up with her.

"Soooo where are you from?" He asked with a soft smile as he walked next to her.

Ahsoka quickly thought.

"Well I was born on Shili." She said with a smile.

Nyx laughed.

"Well you are a Togruta." He said and he adjusted the strap on his shoulder.

"Doesn't mean I had to be born on Shili. I could have been born on Kiros." Ahsoka said in a tired tone.

"Oh.....right." Nyx said as he scratched the back of his neck awkwardly.

"So what was it like growing up on Correllia?" Ahsoka asked as she raised an eyebrow at Nyx's movements.

Why was he so nervous?

Nyx smiled.

"It was never boring I'll tell you that." He said with a laugh.

"I bet." Ahsoka said with a soft smile.

She looked around at the bright lights of the city and sighed softly. It reminded her of Coruscant sometimes....

"So why come to Alderaan? Are you hiding from something?" He jumped in front of her and continued to face her while walking backwards.
"Are you a spy? Orr maybe you are wanted by the hutts? Escaped slave? Bounty hunter? Did you try and kill the Chancellor?"

Ahsoka laughed.
"No, no, no, no, and no." Ahsoka answered.

"Come onnn you have to tell me something about yourself." Nyx said with a whine.

Ahsoka thought.

Family was an option?

"I was raised by a clone battalion known as the 501st." Ahsoka said with pride.

Nyx stopped dead in his tracks and his mouth hung wide open.

"THE 501ST!?!? AS IN LIKE THE CHOSEN ONE'S GROUP??" Nyx exclaimed.

Ahsoka chuckled.
"Keep your voice down jeez. Yes Anakin Skywalker's legion."

"Wait so what happened to your real family?" He asked in a slightly sad tone.

Ahsoka's face saddened slightly.

"They- uh aren't around anymore." Ahsoka said in a quick pace.

She continued walking on.

"Oh- I'm sorry about that..." Nyx said softly.

"Why be sorry? It wasn't your fault." Ahsoka said with a soft smile.

Nyx nodded and they came to stop at a small diner.

"Wait here." Nyx said with a grin as he ran inside the diner quickly.

Ahsoka crossed her arms and smiled.

She felt......

Bubbly? Happy? Casual?

Probably just something she had eaten, she told herself.

Nyx ran back out with a bag.

"Now for the fun part." He said with a smirk and he quickly grabbed Ahsoka's hand and ran off.

He ran with her all the way out of the town and they stood in the outskirts of the city. Where there was nothing but the sky and clear fields.

Ahsoka smiled.

"It's beautiful here." She said with in awe as she turned her gaze upwards to admire the stars.

Nyx sat down and placed the bag in front of him.

"Hungry?" He said with a grin.

Ahsoka nodded and sat down across from him in the grass, her eyes wide with enchantment.

"How many people have you shown this place to?" Ahsoka asked softly.

Nyx chuckled.

"Not many." He smiled.

Ahsoka looked at him with a confused look.

"Then why me? You barely know me.."  Ahsoka told him.

Nyx nudged him shoulder.

"You don't give yourself enough credit stripes."

Ahsoka rolled her eyes.

"What credit needs to be given?" She asked looking at him. "I haven't done anything worth this much kindness." Ahsoka said sadly.

Nyx looked at her.

"What have you done? -I mean I'm sure it's not that bad."

Ahsoka looked away, and didn't respond.

Nyx got the hint and dropped the subject.

"Thank you for getting me out of my bubble." Ahsoka said with a soft laugh.

"It wasn't easy to pop." Nyx responded with a smirk.

Ahsoka looked off into the distance of the city and swore she felt her heart flutter.
