Y/n pov~

Soon enough December rolled around the corner and everyone was getting in the Christmas spirit. Many people were excited to head home to Christmas break since Hogwarts was a complete disaster.

Draco and I were excited to spend Christmas together, I don't think Draco had ever had a proper Christmas but I was going to make sure he had the best Christmas ever.

The grounds outside were covered with snow, and it was quite cold. I loved Christmas. Usually I would spend it at home with dad and mom. But this year dad had to go somewhere for work and mom had to go with him.

Draco on the other hand made some excuse not to go home and stay with me. It seems like the whole school knew Draco and I liked each other.

Hermione, Ron and Harry were definitely hiding something from me, and I had to get to the bottom of it. The only problem was they all were going home for Christmas, but I was determined to find out when they got back.

Christmas break started in a week, meaning we had more work then ever. On the bright side Draco and I worked together.

I spent a lot of time with Hermione, Ron and Harry that week. They invited me to join them for Christmas since they felt bad I had to stay at Hogwarts but I didn't accept the invitation because I wanted to stay with Draco.

"Isn't it beautiful?" Hermione asked as we walked the fields and watched the snow fall.
"It mesmerizing really," I answered as I kicked a bit of snow in the air. We walked around the castle. Hogwarts was astonishing in the winter time. It was beautiful.

As we were walking I felt a cold snow ball hit my back causing me to shiver more than I already was. I turn around to see Draco with Goyle. "Up for a snow ball fight miss cheerleader?" He asked in the most sarcastic voice I've ever heard.
"Im not a cheerlea..."
before I could finish my sentence Hermione had picked up a snow ball and threw it at Goyle and then one at Draco. I laughed as I gave her a high five. I picked up a snow ball and threw it at Draco. Soon enough I was part of a very competitive snowball fight.

We laughed and ran around and hid behind walls trying to cover ourselves and collect snow. It was quite fun, probably the most fun we had in ages.

Hermione and I ran away we tried to dodge the snowballs. The snow was high and was trying to make a way into our boots making our feet cold and wet.

As I was gathering snow Draco sneaked up behind and put his arms around my waist and lifted me up pulling me away for the snow. He spun me around in circles as I laughed. "I've captured her!" Draco yelled. Hermione continuously tried to hit Draco with the snow, missed several times and got me instead. Finally Hermione got him, right in his face. Draco lost his balance and we both fell onto a pile of snow. We laughed so hard. Even Hermione couldn't stop laughing.

"I think we won." Hermione said.
"What do you mean? We captured y/n we definitely win!" Draco snapped back. I couldn't stop laughing. The 2 most competitive people I knew arguing.
"It's a tie!" I call out trying to get them both to shut up. We all laughed hysterically. Draco finally let me go and we both stood up and brushed the snow off ourselves.

"We declare a rematch." Goyle called.
Hermione looked at her watch and said "no I'm getting late, I'll see you guys later." And disappeared from the field and into the castle.
"2 against 1 then." Draco said as he looked at me. I ran as fast I could and Draco chased me. Goyle stood there laughing as he knew Draco would catch me.

I ran as fast as I could, but it was no use Draco was catching up. And at last he caught me. He held me in his arms and whispered "Did you really think you were going to get away?" I laughed and said "well you know you as the amazing good luck charm I am I thought I had some luck."
He turned me around making me face him he kissed my forehead and smirked at me.

Then Goyle threw a huge snow ball at Draco's back causing me and him to fall in the snow again. I rolled my eyes and Draco helped me up. I brushed the snow off myself and tried to get the snow out of my hair.

The sky started to get darker as night approached, and we headed inside for a nice cup of hot chocolate. We walked in the got our hot chocolate and put some marshmallows inside. Then we snuggled up on the couch and drank our warm hot chocolate.

We laughed and talked about how fun the snowball fight was. Although we both wondered where Hermione had ran off too.

We finished our hot chocolate and decided to call it a night. We said goodnight and headed to our dorms. For the first time, I entered my dorm with a big smile. A smile no matter how hard I tried to get ride of I couldn't. It was because my heart was smiling too.
