" Oh come on! Just this once?" the slightly shorter boy clung to the other male's arm, practically begging.
George Davidson and Nick Armstrong. The boys had been friends since forever. Meanwhile one would wonder at first how these two could even stand each other.
" I know you like this stuff, so why won't you at least come along for your dear ol' friend??" Nick puffed his cheek out indignantly.
The first stage of grief, denial.
" Get off of me! And no way would I go to those stupid parties," George huffed, trying to pull his arm away from Nick but to no avail.
Nick sighed before his fingers dug into his friend's arm.
" Come on! By this rate, you would die in your room alone and no one would even know!" he said in an exasperated voice, still trying to persuade him.
Stage two, anger.
George didn't respond, communicating to Nick with just the look in his eyes.
" Please? For your dear old pal Snapmap? You might even find your soulmate!" Nick whined making puppy eyes at him.
Stage three bargaining.
George scowled at his friend's attempts, tugging his arm once more to free it.
" Fine. Just don't expect me to be there when Techno somehow sets the house on fire."
Nick finally let go of his grip to pump his fists into the air, letting George pick up his books from his locker.
" Hello, you muffins! How are we doing?" Hearing the familiar voice, George smiled as Darryl appeared ruffling the hair of Nick.
" I just got ahold of George! Now all of the Hunters are coming to the party!" Nick whooped in excitement. Darryl grinned.
The Hunters are what the group of four named themself. Yes, four. Ant was a new addition but rarely hanged around the three since he was always studying. There was also Sam, but he was currently out of the country for a coding program.
The four were all the best in their personal talents, so Nick had given them the name, even though George had protested.
Since the Hunters had all reached the age of 18, Darryl had decided to hold a party in hopes of finding their soulmates.
Since most (George hated interactions and much rather stay inside and paint) of the group had good ties with a whole bunch of students from the school, the party was to be very large and hopefully let all of the friends make connections with their soul mates.
...it was mostly of false hope, considering how many people were in the world, and only one could be theirs.
" That's good to hear! I'll bring along some treats for the party then!" Darryl said, quickly taking out a piece of paper to scribble the ingredients of stuff on.
Darryl was the son of a baker who ran a popular bakery in town. He was usually always baking something at home and of course loved sharing them with others. He had said he enjoyed seeing the happiness of others.
George lightly smiled at his friends before getting lost in thought.
He didn't really care about the whole aspect of finding his soulmate, but making a few friends sounded okay with him.
