( ahahaah sometimes I hate how I can't stay on one story cause I get new ideas and want to write them- BUT THIS TIME I WILL CARRY THIS STORY TO THE END I esitmate more than 30 chapters if I don't split the story into two books )
~~GEORGE'S POV~~
Watching Dream carefully, George flipped through the pages of a notebook.
Birds were beautiful in George's eyes. Able to fly anywhere and fly to magnificent heights. He wished to be like them back them. Free.
Those memories, though not fond, painted George's story. It also caused him to be an artist, something he would always be grateful for.
" Is this about my parents?" Dream said in a monotone voice as he inquired George.
" Tell me about them," George said as he closed the notebook, sitting some ways away from Dream.
Dream stayed silent for a moment, looking at George strangely.
" Just tell me all about them, don't hold back anything," George murmured. Dream sighed, sitting up from his position.
" Well they can be very strict, but they do it out of love for me, mother always says so," Dream started, scratching the back of his neck.
" I do like my mother better than my father. She doesn't hit me in any way and she always tells me that she loves me. Father though is a different story. Always calls me a different array of colorful slurs. At least lately he's been ignoring me," Dream light chuckled.
" Mother always gives my advice too. About what I should do, who are good friends, and sometimes what's not good for me," Dream lightly frowned as he looked over to George.
" But sometimes I do feel like they're a bit controlling. But I love them. They feed me, clothe me, and house me," The taller boy started fidgeting a bit.
George felt really unsure of what to say. So he stayed silent.
" One thing I can't do is disobey them though. They get so angry and...they might do to me what they did to Jay. Throw out, cast away, not considered one of us anymore. I really liked Jay, she was always there for me when I had my nightmares, and sometimes she prevented some of my punishments," Dream's voice cracked a bit at the end of it.
" And I just...I just...." Dream trailed off as he stared off into nothingness.
" Dream," George said, causing the taller boy to break away from his short trance.
" Look at me," Dream hesitatingly obliged. George lightly smiled seeing the freckles dotting the boy's face.
" Why should you love your parents? And why do you love them?"
