" Woah, why is Georgie poo sulking?" Nick asked as the brunet lightly banged his head on the locker door.
" Ooh, I know! Let's play a guessing game!" Darryl said excitedly.
" Did you fall for the weed brownies?" Nick suggested. George murmured a no before continuing to bang his head on the door.
" You met Geppy?" both friends paused to look over at Bad, both giving him a questioning look.
" W-what? Zak is a bit annoying, but I mean I guess he's a good muffin-" Nick's eyes widened in realization.
" Wait you actually got to meet your soulmate, Darryl?!" Nick laughed, making Darryl blush a bit.
Explaining how he bumped into the boy at the party and eventually found the string, Darryl grew a bit flustered.
Nick paused as an idea came to his mind. Turning back to George he tilted his head.
" You met.... you met your soulmate?" Nick asked. George lightly grimaced before nodding his head.
Darryl frowned, recovering from his earlier flustered state." Why are you so upset by it, you muffin head? Is something wrong with them?"
" No, he's a good person. I think. It's just I can't stand this stuff,"
" You see Darryl, he just doesn't like being ordered around," Nick sighed in faked sadness.
Biting his lower lip George removed his face from the locker door.
" Bad! There you are!" Somewhat appearing out of nowhere, a slightly shorter boy tugged on Darryl's sleeve. He wore a blue sweatshirt and sported checkered vans and messy black hair.
" What are you doing here muffin?" Darryl said a bit startled as he was dragged away by the shorter boy.
As they left bickering George slightly smiled before stopping since Nick noticed it.
" Maybe you could just live with it, Georgie?" Nick mused before George punched his shoulder lightly.
" I'll try, but that's all,"
Well, George didn't have to try at all. Throughout the week he would have even more encounters with the boy since with the stupid string revealed, he would bump into the person almost everywhere. Nick said it was kind of an effect from soulmates, the string basically forces you to spend more time together.
Like "fate".
You can probably guess how annoyed George was.
