FROM PAST TO OUR FUTURE

Chapter 5

RAFAEL’S POV

I am at the airport its 3 am in the morning and I am too tired for any kind of talk .I was in New York when I got news I have to fly to Italy for a conference which is related to my hotel project which need my attention .Generally I have my people to get my work done but this project is very important since I don’t have any hotel chain in Italy and I want to expand my business a over the world .Since I am a well known business men people are ready to co:operate with me and I have a meeting regarding my project today .I totatlly forgot about this project because my cousin Jake was looking after this but since he is too childish for a fresh new project I thought of giving this project my personal attention .I got out of my private jet and moved to my black SUV waiting for me .As the car was moving I just kept my head on the car head rest and thought about my new project .i was too occupied in thinking that I didn’t notice the we reached the hotel .As I made my way to my Room I was too tired to  greet back anyone .I just made my way to my bed and thought of getting some sleep because tomorrow is a new big day for me and soon I sleep took over me .

Next morning I woke up as usual .I am a morning person and very punctual .I hate tardiness. I ordered a black coffee with some toast as  its my first time to Italy and I don’t know about the taste. I’m very particular about my taste .I showered and came out with a towel .After  searching for some time I wore black pants,black shirt, black coat .Then while eating breakfast  I checked my wristwatch,it shows 9:30am . I started answering some of my emails as there was some time left and scrolled through some social-media apps . Then I  got a call from the security that I have 30 minutes left for the meeting .I gave a last glance at myself and walked out from the room .

I reached the elevator and pressed the lobby floor. My black SUV  was waiting for me .Throughout the whole ride I kept glancing on my wristwatch as I’m very particular about time.I reached exactly after 30 minutes .As I entered the company I was greeted by the staff and then I was guided to the conference room by the staff. As I entered everybody stood up and greeted me and just as I was going to greet them back my secretary came up to me and asked to look in the files for finalization .I  gave her a slight nod. As I turned,  my eyes locked  with someone I wished I didn’t meet in my entire life …….
