CHAPTER 14

ANNIE'S POV

As my dad left a bomb on me I was so shocked that I don’t know how to react, was this some kind of a prank if yes it was not at all funny .I was giving a disapproving look when my mother took my hand and made me sit beside my dad .

I  just looked at my dad he was really ill I could see that in his eyes but he can't die, noo he can't I won't let him.
‘’DAD, ‘’ I couldn’t say anything more I just started crying .He hugged me and I cried on his shoulder as I always did when I was small .I know my dad is a super hero he  can't see me crying, He will do something he never left me, he won't leave me ever he promised me that he will always be there for me .Nobody will hurt me if he is around he promised me ,then how can he just say this.

‘’My princess , you have to be strong for your mom .Please can you fulfill my last wish and get married I won't be able to see your kids but I want to see my princess marring her prince .’’
OK DAD !! I'll marry anyone you asked to to marry .

‘’Thank you Anni I LOVE YOU  baby‘’

he smiled and that made me satisfy I can do anything for him .After what happened 4 years back I never wanted to get married ,but for dad I can do anything .

I made my  way to my room wondering what has happened in a night everything was perfect all of a sudden why everything changed .I stayed all day in my room, I didn’t feel like talking to anybody, I did not answer any calls nor checked my mails and cried all night and I don't know when I slept .

Next morning I got up at 9:30 am I don’t know why my head was giving me a hard time my eyes wear burning like hell . I turned and looked at my cell was ringing continuously ,I checked and there was a call from and unknown number I received the call and a very nervous women voice was heard .

‘’Maam where are you sir is waiting for you, the meeting was on 9 and your  late ‘’I was blank for  a minute than it hit me .I had a meeting with Rafael, shit how can I be late .I disconnect the call and made my way to the bathroom, showered ,and wore a yellow sundress with flat's and made my way to my car it was 10:15 am I drove as fast as I can and reached his office building it was huge as I entered the building it was all grey and black it was beautiful but I was too late to admire the beauty soo I moved to the elevator I made my way to his office when the receptionst  stopped me, I was in to hurry to wait as I was about to reach his cabin she caught my hand harshly and stopped me, I am surely going to get bruised

“Where do you  think you are going in this hurry, who are you?”she asked

“I am here to attend the meeting with Mr Knight ".

I said moving out of a grip but she tighten her grip on my hand .I cried out of pain when a husky voice was heard in the hall .

“Leave her hand right now MISS brown.”

He said ,he moved towards me, took my hand and moved towards his cabin and the next thing he said made me shocked …

‘’PICK YOU STUFF AND LEAVE MISS BROWN YOU ARE FIRED ‘’.with this he closed the cabin door.
