Annie's POV
I was shocked . I don’t know what to say so I kept my mouth shut and stood rooted in my place. “Come here princess”I walked towards him and stood beside him. I kept my gaze on my shoes as I didn’t want to look at him. “Dad ,can I talk to Mr Knight in private?” “Yes princess.Go ahead” with that I took him to my room and decided to talk first as he was silent throughout the time. I cleared my throat and started the conversation. “So ,umm Why do you want to marry me MR KNIGHT? After what happened 4 years ago ,do you still want to marry me?.” Just as I finished I looked at his face. I was distraught because his behavior was troubling me. His expression turned dark ,his lips formed a thin line and fingers curled into fist.I bit my lip while anxiously waiting for his answer. He turned to look at the other side so that I can’t see him . Just as I was going to question him, he turned around and started to walk out of the room. “MR KNIGHT” I exclaimed. As he reached the door and twisted the doorknob, And the next words he said got me knees . “One thing is for sure MISS WINSTON that I’m not marrying you because I love you” with that he went straight out of the room and slammed the door shut. I flinched hearing the sound of it. What is going on in my life GODDD!! I just cried and cried ,I just can't believe what just happened a few days ago I was happy and now I am going in this loveless marriage .Thinking about all the things happened i don’t know when I slept .
Today Rafael grandparents are coming here for the engagement. It is going to be a small engagement. Only his grandparents and my parents. As I woke up I decided to wear something good as I need to go shopping to buy my engagement dress.i had my breakfast and went for shopping alone. After 2 hours of searching I finally got a beautiful dress. It was a sky blue full length sleeveless dress with a V neckline. It was very beautiful.

As I went home I took a shower and decided to take a nap as I’m going to have a long day ahead of mee. After getting up I ate some food and decided to get ready as it 4:00pm and the engagement is at sharp 7:00pm. I took a shower and wore a bathrobe because I didn’t want to dirty my dress. I straightened my hair and left it open then I decided to do my makeup. I applied a brown colour eyeshadow ,a winged eyeliner,mascara and a nude lipstick. I don’t like to cake my face up with makeup .So I went with the simple option. As I finished my makeup I was informed that guests has arrived. I finally decided to wear my dress. As I finally looked at the mirror I gasped. I was actually looking beautiful. After sometime I decided to go down. As I was descending the stairs I saw Rafael grandparents sitting on one couch and Rafael sitting on the other one. Rafael looked at me and then looked at his phone. As I reached her grandma came to me and patted my head and said “Finally ,he got you.”I was confused I don’t know what was she implying. Just as I was going to ask her Rafael took her and made her sit . We talked for sometime . Her Grandparents are very nice. I instantly like them. The are very good . “Lets start the engagement.” my dad said and Rafael came forward to ask for my hand. I hesitantly took it and we were made to stand in the middle. As he open the box I gasped it was a diamond ring with small diamonds studded everywhere and very beautiful.
