In this river full of doubt
There is no way out
Days of unending torment
There's nothing you can do but lamentPicking the shattered pieces
Only gave you wounds and bruises
How hard it must've been
When you have yet to beginSilenced voice; coerced by the world
Those without ears found it absurd
How those shadows lurked in the dark
Fading as the sky turns to duskBut even when morning comes
The soul continues to succumb
Sinking against the strong wave—
The toxicity that continues to enslaveAlong the years, you've concealed
Without giving time to be completely healed
Living in anguish with every breath
Waiting for death to come take you aheadThe empty eyes reflecting in the mirror
Shows how good you are of an actor
Disguising under all sorts of masks
Yet no one even bothers to askIt has dawned to me that this is who I've become
Losing myself in this state of glum
Where forgiveness is nowhere near done
For the soul is lost like the setting sun
