When I was alone in the night sky
I lay my head on the rye
Waiting for a shooting star to come by
Suddenly, a light caught my eyeFrom then on, I knew I would come to love you
The feeling was familiar but it was entirely new
I became a masterpiece that your heart drew
And that lonely star at night became twoYou brought light in my darkest night
Because of you, I felt so much delight
You gave me your hand, and I held it tight
And I knew I would be safe in your arms tonightBut things changed when our love reached their ears
Making use of all our fears
That moment drowned in voices and tears
And now, I'll be alone on what was supposed to be our thousand yearsMy love, from the very beginning our fates were already sealed
Even if we try to rewrite the stars, it won't be unsealed
I will keep my shattered heart and sorrows concealed
'Cause now that you're eternally gone, I'll never be healed
