I'm in Love with my Teenage Fan

Chapter Fifteen

I walk into the house and Kia is asleep on the couch.  I walk over and start to pull a blanket over her but I stop.  I look at her and I see she has a smile on her face so I bend over and pick her up.  She curls into my neck and I carry her to her room, but I stop outside the door.  I don't want to wake her up but I need to talk to her.

            “Kia,” I whisper in her ear.  She opens her eyes and sees how close we are.

            She smiles at me.  “Yes, Jacob?”

            “I was wondering if we could talk in the morning before school.”

            She nods her head and I walk into her room and lie her in her bed.  She smiles up at me one last time and she reaches up and kisses my lips.  At first I don't know what to do, but it only last a second.  Before I know it I am lying with her underneath me and I can't stop kissing her.  She smiles against my lips and then whispers, “I knew you liked me.”

            I kiss her one last time and say, “Well looks like I do.”

            I get out of her bed and walk to my bedroom.  I can't believe I just did that.  I know I want to be with her, that was never a question, what is a question though is that I don't know if she really wants to be with me.  I sigh and look at my bathroom mirror.  She is so incredible I have to move forward with these feelings don't I?  I mean I can't just assume that everything is going to work out with me telling her to try to find someone better.  What if she does and then I lose the girl that I truly love?

            I take a nice, long, hot shower and think about everything.  That is what I do when I am just so confused that I don't know what else to do, I take a shower so hot it feels like the steam is cleaning out my soul.

            I hear a knock on the door and I step out of the shower and wrap a towel around my waist before opening the door.  Kia is standing there smiling at me like she did something wrong.  I look at her confused for a minute then she whispers, “So I was thinking that maybe we could watch a movie on the couch and talk tonight?  I am kind of awake after that intense make out session that we had.”

            I smile at her and nod my head.  “Let me get dressed and then I will be right out.”

            She blows me a kiss and then walks out of sight.  I quickly pull on some pants and a walk out to the living room.  She smiles at me and I start to ask her what she is smiling about but she answers me before the thought is fully formed in my head.  “You look good without a shirt on.”

            I smile at her and sit on the couch.  She cuddles into me and I pull her closer.  What am I doing?  I can't be acting like this!  She is my teenage fan!

            Kia smiles up at me and whispers, “So what did you want to talk about?”

            I inhale once then I begin.  “Well you see what I want to talk about is honestly quite simple.  I know that I really like you, and you really like me.  There is no denying that.”  She smiles and starts to say something but I put my hand up and continue, “Listen I don't want you to think that you have to agree with me.  If there is someone else you like then maybe you should talk to them and get to know them like you did me.  Maybe then you will see that there are other good guys in this world.”

            She smiles up at me and whispers, “But you are the best!”

            I smile down at her and start to lean in to kiss her.  I don't know why I can't control myself but every time she gives me this look, it is like I am magnetized to her lips and I have to kiss her.  She pulls away at the last minute and says, “But if you don't believe me I will go on a date.  If me and him don't hit it off then we know that we are meant to be, but if we do then maybe it was just a celebrity crush all this time.”
