Chapter 5: Seeking Help

Garroth's POV

After a flash of light Aphmau and I found ourselves in that white void again. "Hello?", Aphmau called out. Then Irene and Esmund walked out from nowhere towards us.

"Greetings.", the Matron said.

"Hello Irene and Esmund, we came to ask you somethings.", Aphmau said, I nodded.

"Esmund you can talk with Garroth and I Aphmau."

"Yes Irene.", Esmund said. Irene and Aphmau walked off from us. Wow they really look alike. I snapped out of my thoughts when I remembered why I was here.

"Esmund?"

"Yes?"

"I wanted to ask if you could help me control my form and if you had any more information on Shad."

"Yes I will help you with your form and as for Shad, I don't know anymore than Irene."

"Okay, what about the other descendants of the divine?"

"Oh well, we don't know much about who they are, apart from Travis."

"Oh yes, I forgot about Travis."

"Now would you like to learn about your form now?"

"Yes please." And he began to teach me how to control my form.

After that Aphmau came back with Irene. The bell then signalled our returning to our dimension.

Aphmau's POV

I walked back to Garroth and Esmund with Irene. She had taught me how to control my relic and I asked her for more info on Shad but all she told me that he was her lover before and that he later on went on to have children on a family with a human and the family ended up being the royal family of Falcon Claw, Aaron's family. She didn't tell me anything more than that or what I already knew. After the bell chimed Garroth and I appeared back in the building. "Well, it seems that we didn't faint this time.", Garroth said.

"Yeah...", I then told him what Irene said.

"Okay then, hey, where is Laurance?", He asked me. "I don't know. I noticed he was uncomfortable when we entered so maybe when he saw us vanish he went outside."

"Maybe your right." We walked outside to find Laurance sitting down under a nearby apple tree.

We walked up to him and he stood up seeing that we were back. I noticed a cut on his hand, but when I asked but it he said it was nothing. I looked at his eyes and, I don't know if I'm crazy or not but, I saw then change from red to blue. Why were they red before? I dismissed the thought and we then went back to camp. Garroth and I went to my house while Laurance went on patrol. "Aphmau, if Shad is back don't you suppose that we should try find the descendants of the Divine warriors?", Garroth asked.

"Yes I think so also. I already know one descendant but what about the other three?"

"Well, we don't know the descendant of Menphia and Kul'Zak but, we might need to find someone who can bear Shad's relic. But we also need to find those relics."

"Well we already have a clue as to where Enki's could be, at the island we met Travis at.", I told him.

"Yes, when should we leave to find it?"

"Hopefully tomorrow morning. I'll ask Travis if he could come also and Katelyn and Laurance."

"Okay Aphmau."

"Oh and Garroth, Vylad is coming over and I wanted to ask some questions about..."

"Laurance?", he cut me off.

"Yeah, we both know that Laurance isn't going to tell us either way and if there is any way we can help him I want to know."

"I agree with you Aphmau. I am going to put away my weapons and armor then come back up for dinner then."

"Okay.", I said as I watched him leave the room and I went to my room to freshen up.
