Chapter 14

The files that Jasper looked over gave him no help to why Jared was acting strange or where the Fuzzy Guy is at this very moment. Though he did know that Jared was lying about not remembering attacking his brother. "Could the Fuzzy Guy have taken over Jared?" He thought as he closed the last file.

He got up and he opened the drawer to put the file back. He did and Jasper thought about Adam. "I guess I should tell Adam about his dad being my partner," Jasper thought as he walked out. Jasper walked quickly down the hallway and he reached the elevator. Jasper pressed the button to go to the fifteenth floor to talk to Jared but he changed it to the top floor when he heard Jackie call him over the loud speakers.
"Jasper report to the infirmary right away. It's important," she said with her voice shaking.

Jasper's heart pounded in his chest as he continually pressed the button to go up. The elevator finally went up and a few seconds later Jasper burst out of the elevator and he sprinted down the hallway. He brushed past other agents and he saw Jackie up ahead staring through a surgery window. Jasper reached her and he stared at the window.

His hand flew over his mouth at what he saw. It was Adam and he seemed to have multiple shot wounds in his midsection and chest. A strange half cry half gasp came from Jasper's chest. He continued watching and there was a beeping noise from the heart monitor. He saw the doctors rush around frantically and they got a defibrillator. They used it on Adam ten times and they gave up. Jasper swore he saw Adam breathing but he wasn't sure. Then Jasper looked at Jackie through his tears and she was crying as well. She explained to him that one of the Fuzzy Guy's henchmen came in. They fought for a few minuets and he shot Adam. Jasper sighed and he said softly,
"We need to tell everyone that Adam Randal Young died with honor like his father."
